It’s good to build a relationship with your local Country radio so they actually listen to you when you request songs, so:
- Sign up for your local Country radio station listener club and become more familiar with what they play and how they accept requests.
- Check your local radio station’s Mediabase online form so you know how to vote for Danny on it (if he’s listed there now for “My Best Days Are Ahead Of Me” or “I Will Not Say Goodbye”, request it, of course. You can also write in the song on the space they provide if it’s not on the list.)
- Follow your radio station on twitter, facebook , etc.
- See which of the syndicated country radio (non-countdown) shows run in your market. You can send them requests too!
- See if your station has a listener-voted show (hot 7, 8-at-8, 9-at-9 etc), and find out how they tally requests. Some take them by phone, text, email; others may have an online voting form.
- Register at CMT.com to make comments and rate Danny’s videos!
- Register for Rate the Music, Nashville Country Club and Your Country Station poll for when Danny’s song comes on.
Tip: Bookmark all the pages that are specific to your personal checklist of votes, local radio stations, etc. so it’s quick and easy to revisit them regularly to vote for Danny and support “I Will Not Say Goodbye”!
