Morning all!!
Weird weather here this week. wild snow showers then temps in the upper 50′s.
Good times, seeing MBDAAM back on the radio charts on the Idol radio chart with 45 spins. Who knows why it was played just glad it was
TTYL
Good Morning all. Ash Wednesday is today and Lent is right around the corner. I will admit I am catholic and will honor the religious practices. Glad to hear Danny’s MBDAOOM song is being played across the country. Ellen- very surprised to hear Sugarland’s lawyer is blaming the people who attended the concert. That seems a little far fetched. It will be a rainy day in Milwaukee today, but I don’t think any snow. I will take that any day.
Steph,
Please delete this tweet if it is not okay to post. I am not sure of guidelines. If Danny is out in public and snapped by a fan, I would not post the tweet while he was at the place. If the lunch (or other activity) is assumed to be over, then posting about it seems as if it would be okay.
I think part of being a celebrity is getting attention, attention that at this point I think Danny wants.
Normally don’t pay that much attention, but I really like today’s discussion post photo.
Paula, I think the Sugarland lawyers are suggesting something along the lines that that the fans should have been aware of the weather and exercised common sense by taking cover. There’s at least a small grain of truth to that, but it’s equally likely that fans were waiting to hear official news from the venue or the act that the performance was going to be delayed, cancelled, etc. There are lots of reasons why it made sense for fans to stay put. But either way, from a public relations standpoint, it’s not good to blame the victims. And jurors generally don’t go for the blame-the-victim routine, either, unless the victim did something especially stupid (and sometimes not even then if the victim was greviously hurt).
Most of my posts recently have not been Danny-related, but I’m going to apologize in advance for this one.
In response to the death of American war reporter Marie Colvin, who was killed in Syria, British Labour Party leader Ed Milibrand called Colvin “an inspiration to women in her profession.”
I’m sure Milibrand meant well, but I’m a wee bit offended. I’m sure Colvin was an inspiration to ALL in her profession, male and female alike. She has reported from Kosovo, Chechnya, East Timor, Libya, and most recently, Syria. All world hot spots at one time or another.
Note to Danny: Do not make that mistake. Some of your female fans have worked hard to be taken seriously in their respective professions.
Evening all. Thanks Ellen for the input. I kind of figured that may have been part of their defense. I don’t believe that will go over very well. I just saw a Danny commercial on tv and my husband had a look of disdain on his face. I think Danny’s puppy is very cute. I see Danny is still pretty popular in Nashville. Now he just needs a new song on the radio to help keep his name in the spotlight.

Amen, Ellen
Preach it sister
Lurker, I think posting that pic is just fine. Considering the tweeting by Danny and his wife of their personal significant moments of their life like engagement, wedding day, etc- I think they like almost any attention, as long as it isn’t negative. Wonder who the guy is?
So Paula, your husband isn’t a Danny fan either, lol?
I guess someone on Idol this year Jeremy Grimm (?) is a recent grad of UW-LaCrosse, where my son goes to school.

Cute puppy, big feet
. Danny said he wanted a big dog and it looks like he’s gonna get it
As for a name, since Danny went with the muppets the last time, might well stick with it. My vote “Bunsen Honeydew”
“Wonder who the guy is?”
Maybe a guy who sells dogs?
I think Danny was smart to tweet this. American Idol did a retweet.
AI has more than 377,000 followers. That’s a lot of people who may see Danny’s tweet and picture and be reminded of him.
Congratulations to all who have been working with or donating for the Compassion Nashville project.

Puppy is very cute. And whoa, Danny got over 3000 comments on his FB page about it. I guess people love puppies

Aww, how cute! President Obama is singing the blues (literally). Not bad!
(P.S.) That is a neutral comment and not meant to be political. I know better than to talk politics on iheartDG, which would be a meltdown waiting to happen.

Morning
Puppies alwats get an AWWW!! then they grow up
That was nice tweet from Danny about his experience on the show. It wold be a much different experience to go through the show knowing what he knows now, but thats why hindsight is 20/20. It was fun watching him grow into the performer he has become and will continue to evolve into.

Do you have any??
Happy thursday everyone. I’m sure Danny watching American Idol brought back a lot of memories. I still haven’t watched this season yet. It is wonderful that Danny’s foundation was able to take in another homeless family. He should be so proud of his humanitarism. Danip- interesting quote from a songwriter. Sometimes when I listen to a song on the radio, I wonder who thought up the lyrics. Well, our winter storm watch was canceled for the Milwaukee area. Yay! Have a good day all.
morning all
I put up a post about the Nashville Heart Gala, nice collection of photos

Good morning all!
I often want to replace lyrics. And actually Ed and Joe are amazing at coming up with alternative versus for songs they hear. Some very funny. Maybe Danny should enlist their help to write his songs
There is a Keith Urban song– I want to put you on the Radio. In it he says something about wanting to be a man some day. Unless I heard it wrong and he already says it, he is a man, doesn’t he want to be HER man some day?
Puppies do get lots of attention. And Danny’s tweet about AI? Danny would kill American Idol now. BUT isn’t he glad he isn’t back there? Now he can move forward and make his own sound and make his mark in music.
Go Danny, Go! Get back in that recording studio!!!!
And that is Jan’s cheer for the day.

Great new pictures post, Steph! It’s nice that Danny posted those to his facebook for all of us to enjoy.
There is a song (maybe Tim McGraw) that has this line:
I would prefer it be:
In my view there is a feeling of shock that so much change can happen one day at a time.
The exact description in words, to me, is sometimes more like poetry because of what is unsaid. There is a line in one of James Durbin’s songs (May) that is an example: “She was the way she was.” I like the line. It is stating something obvious, but the feeling conveyed is dramatic.

Hello everyone!
Hello, Declan!
Re Danny’s latest tweet: I’ve often wondered, worrywart that I am, about what happens if your “check engine” light is broken or burnt out. Glad to know I am not the only person who has thought of this!
I put up a post with video of Danny and band members in rehearsal for the upcoming WI show.
I recognize Josh, does anyone recognize some of the others
Twitter: jannworth
I recognize the keyboardist– Bryon Chambers (Mr Talkbox.)
I’m getting excited for the show! Cool idea to put up the video on youtube.
Maybe this social media approach to promoting his music could be very good

That really was a great idea to tweet out that rehearsal video. I hope Danny does more of that. I would love to be at that show. I was tempted to look for last minute flights but I’m not 100% sure that I could go, and I have already lost so much money on things I ended up not able to do that I am gun-shy. It is going to be so great for those who are there though.
I hope we see puppy video soon too!
Josie, an iheartie tried to talk me into going — unsuccessfully. I really need to concentrate on work.

I’m going to bring up the discussion thread photo again. Does anyone know who took the picture or when? I love the shadows in that photo.

I think this is it Ellen….GOO in January. Darla of course
Twitter: JosieInSeattle
Steph, what in the heck WAS that? Weird.
Ellen, I am guessing it might have been the same ihearte trying to persuade us!
. I really do wish I could be there. But until our budget gets approved by the board (mtg is next week), I just don’t have a “normal” life when it comes to work. I really like my boss and all that, but it’s difficult to get away right now.
Steph, that video is just disturbing

The rehearsal video is very good, however.

Hi everyone!

God Bless you all!
Oh! The video rehearsal is awesome!
Can I ask a question? I just want to know if the People Magazine Issue of Danny & Leyicet’s Wedding is exclusively distributed/available in the US?
Thank you!
Josie, I wouldn’t be surprised if we were “encouraged” by the same iheartie to attend the Manitowoc concert.
Asics, thanks for the identification of the photo. It did look like a photo Darla might have taken, but I wasn’t sure, and I had no idea of when or where.
That second video said the embedding was disabled?
Declan, I don’t know if People Magazine is distributed outside the U.S., or, if it is, whether they publish the same version of the magazine.
Mr. Bing, hello, great to see you here!
