Danny also mentioned that SHF will be trying to get runners in the half marathon on April 28 in Nashville as well as a possible event prior to the Marathon. More details to come. We can support the runners if we want to help out Compassion Nashville

I don’t understand MJ’s headline and tweets about Jamar. She has posted that he has Aids. Jamar (as far as I know) has said that he has HIV. I don’t believe HIV and AIDS are the same thing from what I’ve read, so it seems her headline may be wrong.

I just watched Jamar’s audition for the Voice. I liked it, but I liked the friend he was to Danny during his most difficult time, even more….
Jamar’s past drug usage might be another window into why Danny wants to help former drug addicts at Compassion Nashville…. Just a thought.
By the way, did we mention that Danny went scuba diving in Cozumel? I was told a story by his companions that day that they all intended to go snorkeling, until Danny and Leyicet started speaking Spanish to their guide and somehow snorkeling became Danny’s first scuba diving event.
Danny said the instructions were minimal and the experience was more difficult than he expected. But I was told by someone holding a rope to the surface that he and Leyicet swam away. (But Danny reported to me that he was less comfortable with how to breath than L was….)
I’m sure little snippets will continue to surface as I go about my daily routines.

Hello there peeps. The budget meeting that I had to miss the cruise for happened today. Went fine. i was there two days straight w/o going home. I am so tired. Good Morning. Thanks again Jan for some more info about the cruise. I have never listened to Ma$e’s music before. Is he a rapper? I heard that scuba diving the first time can be kind of difficult, when you are not used to the breathing apparatus. Josie- I know what you mean by being busy. I have been really busy at work and unfortunately for me it is never ending. I guess it is job security right? I like the new kitten as the newest member of Danny’s family. It is an interesting name I will admit. Well, off to the gym. Have a good thursday all. The weekend is almost here.

Actually, I just finished. Congratulations to both of them. Doesn’t have internet in our home, I am now in my sister’s house because she feels sick. So, I go here with my mother.
Congratulations to DG’s Annual Cruise, hope it was a successful one. Sure that everyone went to attend had fun.

So happy Jamar is getting another chance- I agree Jan-he was/is a very good supportive friend to Danny and also very persistent in his career! I missed his audition, was at work, but will hopefully catch him again; not sure how the Voice works.

Thanks to Michelle’s prodding and Asics mentoring, I’ve been training since December- slow but sure. I may not make good time, but will get across that finish line one way or another!!!
And hopefully raise some funds for a great cause while we are at it

I think this video is interesting. It shows the people working behind the scenes filming the last episode of House. In the episode, it seems there are only two people in the room. It appears time passes between interviews. The clip below shows the room full–very full–of people. Instead of one actor leaving and lots of time passing while another actor comes to the interview room, they have people kneeling on the floor ready to quickly move into the interview chair to keep filming moving fast.

I watched this episode Monday. It was one of my favorites. I was sad to hear that House will be having it’s last episode in May. I’m a fan of House and Huge Laurie. He along with the original cast will be missed…
I sure wished I lived closer to participate in the run. My daughter-in-law is a runner. She lives closer, but not close enough. It should be a fun day for a good cause.

Pam- good luck moving your son’s things out of his dorm. I wish you luck in training for the half marathon! I have a few friends who are runners. It sounds like a good event for SHF. I do hope Jamar does well on the voice. I give him credit for not quitting his dream.
Kathy in Milwaukee, I think there may be legal reasons why Toni doesn’t push sales of the book, but even though I’m a lawyer, I am not sure that I understand what the problem is. It’s a book of recaps, but also contains photos of Danny and band members taken by ihearties attending concerts. But Danny owns the rights to his own image. It’s a really complicated area of law. I think Toni got feedback — maybe from Danny’s management or then-label? — that made her want to keep things lowkey. (I don’t think it had anything to do with Danny himself.) As I said, I don’t understand, so you will have to talk to Toni.
The recaps are a different matter. We wrote ‘em so we own ‘em. I tried to make mine amusing (which wasn’t hard). I think I did around six recaps.
If there is any interest, I am perfectly happy to share my recaps on this site, for those who may not be able to get the book. (Blurb doesn’t deliver to other countries, for example.) Just let Steph or Erika know if you are interested, and I will give them my recaps. (I suspect that if enough ihearties expressed interest, they would post them.)
JJ, I will be interested in what you think of the other recaps when you get your copy of the book. I know I thoroughly enjoyed yours!

Finely catching up since the cruise. My daughters (Stacie and Kaylie) and I had so much fun on the cruise! They are already talking about going again next year!!! It was fun for me to hear Danny sing in person, have my picture taken with him for the 1st. time and to meet and talk to some of you! My girls enjoyed seeing Danny, but they really liked Matt.
