It will be a special weekend for Danny. I hope some wedding photos will be forthcoming. I’m very happy for Danny and Leyicet, as they begin their new life together. 
Danny has come full circle since his idol days. I believe this will be the start of wonderful endeavors he will fulfill this year. Have a great friday all.

Good morning IHearties! Miss you guys. Been so busy once again at work (which is a good thing I can’t complain in today’s economy)!
Just wanted to let you know that my Dad got pretty much the “all clear” on his cancer. He still has to have his PSAs checked periodically. His levels are coming down and the cancer has shrunk. Thank GOD! Dad is 77 and his Mom lived till she was 97 so I’m praying he lives another 25 years! He has my heart.
Danny & Leyicet I hope you have a wonderful, blessed marriage. I am very lucky to have met the man of my dreams and I’m so happy Leyicet has too.
Please give Danny a big hug from JJ ladies. I’m so happy for all of you that are going. Have a blast.

Good news JJ. O my 97 I only pray that I reach that age and I am not a burden to my daughters. Well actually my son-in-law. Since I have been told that he is my favorite person in the family. Some times he is. He is so dang cute and he can be sassy (which I love about him).

It doesn’t bother me. I am probably at the top with off-topic comments. I have posted lots and lots (and lots more) links to Randy Travis, Merle Haggard, Linda Ronstadt, Restless Heart, Hank Williams, Hugh Laurie, Kid Rock, and other people. Once I posted that I wouldn’t post any more links to other artists’ music, but Steph replied with something about it added to the post count. So I quit feeling bad. If I post links, I assume people will skip them if they aren’t interested.
I have been hesitant about posting links lately, though, because sometimes the video is posted instead of the link. I don’t know how to undo that to just the link.
The video, itself, when it is about someone other than Danny seems to “in-your-face” when posted on a Danny fan site.
A couple of nights back, I posted a link to a Hugh Laurie drawing in salt. The video popped up rather than the link, so I deleted the post.
I found the drawing in salt fascinating. The artist sprinkles salt on a dark background. He uses a couple of tools (maybe a sharp paper and a little knife (?)) and his fingers to move the salt around.
He has several links on Youtube to other drawings he has done including Madonna, Mr. Bean, French Fries, Obama, Gordan Ramsay, Afghan Girl, The Joker, Steve Jobs, Obama, etc.
I like the music the artist plays as he does the drawing of Hugh. It is “Pulse” by Kevin Macleod. I had never heard it before (and had not heard of Kevin Macleod).
I am copying the link in case anyone does find this interesting and wants to see how this artist draws with salt. I will make the link easy to skip and more difficult to access so that the link won’t be invasive here (hopefully). I am going to post the link but omit http at the front. I think this will keep the link from working and will keep the video from showing. If anyone does want to see the video, add an http at the front (before the : ).

I was wondering where the saying “will suit him (or her) to a t” came from.
I could search for the origin of the saying, but, instead, I am making up my own meaning.
This is what I have concluded. To suit someone to a t means to please them completely. If it will suit one completely, it must be to a t; otherwise it would only sui them to an i.
I know we occasionally have a love-hate relationship with the ToC blog, but I love seeing a great big photo of Danny next to Miranda Lambert
Even more because that blog has more than 922,000 followers on Facebook and 20K+ on twitter

But what if they wanted to keep it? Would they spray something on it? Or is this something temporary? My daughter puts big puzzles together and my husband sponge brushes glue on and they hold together. But maybe those are not meant to be permanent

A comment about the Taste of Country tweets:
When I first went to the site, I read just Miranda’s tweet and Danny’s. Later I saw a link again on twitter. Since I know it helps an artist grow more popular if mentions get web hits, I decided to go click on Danny’s tweet at TOC again. I clicked Miranda’s first again. Then Danny’s. I saw Danny had a comment under his tweet. The comment said “I love this one.”
I started wondering what comments the others had. I clicked back to Miranda’s. No comment. Then, I went on to click on each tweet looking for comments. I saw no comments under any tweets except Danny’s.
Good publicity for Danny. Fun to read “I love this one” under his name. The person who chose the tweets probably notices who gets comments. I know there may be other comments as the tweets are noticed, but right now I am feeling proud for Danny.
I noticed too that Danny’s followers went up several more.

Pam, I used to have 2 cats and lots of kittens, back when I was still single and got plenty of time for them. Me and my sister would dream of building a shelter and adopting all stray cats and dogs (she loves dogs and I love cats) when we were younger, but sad it didn’t came to a reality

Good Morning. I went to Chicago yesterday with my husband to an NBA game. We had a nice time. We went to a pretty popular restaurant in Chicago for pizza called Lou Minalti’s. I don’t know if anyone has been there, but the crust is made with butter and has a unique flavor. I thought it was excellent. Anyway, Danny’s wedding is right around the corner. He must be so excited.

OT:
I think my taste in movies and books is way different than Mr. Gokey’s, lol. We tried watching ‘Courageous’ (he had recommended a while ago) last night and had to quit; both hubbie and I thought the acting was very B-rated (didn’t recognize any of the actors) and it was a very Hallmarky-sappy movie (I like movies that are subtle/clever in their message/attempt to elicit sentimental emotion-not being obviously hit over the head with it). I think it would be a good movie for a church youth group or Sunday school class, but we passed on it for prime time entertainment
Switched to “I Don’t Know How She Does It”- somewhat entertaining, in our opinion. But I do like Pierce Brosnan, Greg Kinnear and Sarah Jessica Parker.
Off to make little bite size fancy brownies; we are finally using the item we bid on at a charity ball- Wine tasting party for 20. They provide the wine commentary and wine, but we provide all the food. And cleaning of course.

But I guess Danny’s mama doesn’t quite take the initiative like CJ mom, lol-she probably made him do it

It was a nice surprise to see MJsbigblog congratulating Danny.
From Danny’s twitter feed, there is still a lot of his fans that didn’t realize he is getting remarried— and a few teasing that he’s broken their heart.
I’m guessing it is a late afternoon ceremony. I think I saw on his twitter feed that he missed church this morning (if that person is accurate.) Hey, I can’t imagine having a normal day on the day you are getting married.
I have to admit to being curious who Danny has standing up for him at today’s ceremony etc. Hopefully People.com will do a really great article — or we get the details from Danny himself on the cruise. (Yes, I know it is personal, but most of us don’t have our wedding featured in People.)
But for Danny’s sake, I hope the attendees do not post pics on their facebook page until AFTER People does their feature…..
