I’m Glad that Danny stayed 1st on WMZQ yesterday.
Today results are not bad But we need more votes, Danny has a 8% lead,
(the 2nd person( Margaret Durante)’s % are increasing,by the way I haven’t noticed her before on the voting!!)
Top5 Gone Wild poll is closed for now,and I don’t know why but I can’t see the results,The last Time I checked it out Danny was 11th.

Unicorn, Margaret is a performer who comes from the area near WMZQ station. So sometimes she has a lot of her local family/friends/fans voting for her. Other times they seem to forget about her though

Hi everyone! Sorry that I can’t make it to see Danny in Allentown.
I was wondering too if anyone from here or twitter was going to his concert. I got to State College, PA late last night. Hopefully Danny will make Allentown, PA a stop every year. Although I wish he would give more notice for his concerts. It would be so much easier to make plans with more notice. Are the Taylor Swift Atlanta concerts new for Danny? I know NC is a make up for a cancellation.
Definitely will check him out on HGTV on Monday 9/5. Love HGTV anyway, especially House Hunters International. Love watching people buy homes in places that are unique.

Peter Z. appears to be the director. The credits on his website show that he directed Brad Paisley’s Celebrity video (cool), and Real Fine Place to Start (Sara Evans, also cool).

That is actually a normal timeline; about 2 years in between. As long as it doesn’t stretch longer like David Cook’s album
Danny doesn’t even have as strong a fan base as David’s , less radio success too; look what numbers David’s album threw up 
But maybe that will give SHH time to go top 20 and WMO time to go top 10 right? So he doesn’t have to rely on AI fanbase.

So, now it is early spring for Danny’s album huh? I agree with Pam. I hope it’s not too much later. I really hope that WMO is the next single for Danny after SHH. I think it is a catchy song and will do well on radio. As long as Danny continues to do radio tours and special events his name should stay in the public eye. I hope we hear some tweets about tonight’s event.

…… or is it Danny that is messing with us? Remember when he announced last fall/early winter that he was working on new material? We all thought, geez that’s so close to MBD being released….Well, in reality, not really.
I truly think he has to get a decent hit –in the teens and another climbing to have the best chance at album # 2 selling decent enough. David Cook’s new single went no where. I do not see Danny in the same situation right now. I think his single will get some traction.
Both Madison stations played it tonight. One at 7:30 and the other before 8. And I missed both of them.

I can kind of relate to the story about David Nail. Lol. I worked briefly in an ice cream cafe in college. Whoa, not a good idea.

I think it would go a long way to help sales if Danny had a strong performance on AI that people could get excited about, but I hope they don’t put all their eggs in that basket. I hope that he continues to get out and do concerts and meet people. Radio play can help too and I remain optimistic on SHH overall
since we are at such an early stage to tell what it is doing.
But I think touring can be another great way to build his career. There have been plenty of newbie acts who did well on radio whose albums didn’t sell. And examples of some whose albums did great who have had only middling (or worse) radio success but gained a following through other ways.
Also picking songs that his audience will like. IMO David Cook lost a lot of potential buyers because his album didn’t sound like something they wanted to buy. I can only say I did buy most of the tracks on his first album, and I bought his AI “boot song” single last season
But I didn’t buy his new album because it sounded boring and pretentious from the reviews I read, and playing some of the songs none of them made much impression on me so I couldn’t imagine wanting a whole album of it 
I still like his voice though, so if he puts out songs I will like better I’m sure I would consider buying them.
So far, Danny has not had that type of disconnect between his music and his fans that I can tell.

I do like that the Radio tour this time is a bigger stage. Small concert events.
Last time it was just little in studio events.
This time they are booking him to perform for radio sponsored events–with a few of the in studio sprinkled in.
My country radio stations are constantly sponsoring theater events–they have David Nail coming up and have had Josh Thompson and almost all the newer acts in between.
And they have the Taste of Madison. This year is Hunter Hayes, Steve Holy, and Josh Thompson. Last year was Lee Brice, James Otto and Danny.
Interesting in that same article about GAC’s new programming. I wonder if any of Danny’s performances might get picked up on this show also. He will be back in September for a Saturday night show, and who knows but that he will be likely to come back in October to the Opry.
I really hope Win Me Over is a single….there is just something about that song, at least to me, that sounds perfect for radio. I loved it the first time I heard it and do not tire of it even on repeat, unlike SHH which took some time to grow on me.

And I’m still working on Jay DeMarcus of Rascal Flatts to see if Danny will be touring with them this winter. He is the only one who really answers some of our questions. I think he is annoyed with me though as I have been on him for this tour for over a year now
They both have albums coming out in the spring (we hope!). What better timing? I’m sure annoyed with myself for forgetting to ask Danny at the Sundance Saloon
