   Good Morning all. Well, I did watch some idol last night. As usual some groups were good and some bad. As of right now, I believe there are some talented female singers. I remember Ryan Seacrest saying he thought this year it favored the women. I saw at least one Milwauukee person go home. It really is amazing what Danny accomplished when he was on idol. I guess seeing all those people compete made me realize how difficult it is to move on in each round. I’m glad Danny is performing at a couple concerts this weekend. Have fun whoever is going from here. well, off to work. Have a good Thursday everyone.

   After eliminating roughly half of the 327 contestants the first two days of Hollywood Week, “American Idol” is back with the dreaded Group Day, which is one of our favorite parts of the entire show. There are always so many tears and meltdowns,∝╬══→∝╬══→∝╬══→∝╬══→∝╬══→∝╬══→∝╬══→∝╬══→ but there are also some amazing performances that come out of it — remember Danny Gokey and Jamar Rogers group from two years ago?     Hope everyone is doing well.

    Lori, I see you celebrated a birthday yesterday. Hope it was a fun day for you.

    Paula, XLGokey, Mr. Bing, Yes, those group auditions are brutal. It’s so easy to get cut if you are having a bad day and are off key, or just didn’t “Bring It”. So, happy that Danny blew them away, on that audition, during their group day.

    Great way to entice Danny into giving us some news, Danip. Keep ‘em comin’.

    XLGokey, Tell Mr. Bing we miss him. Hope he gets back online soon too.

    It’s warm in Milgokey, snow is melting. Asics, you’d be proud- it was 40 degrees in Port yesterday so I ran outside. Was a little chilly though.

    After watching group day on AI last night I stayed up late watching all the videos Steph sent me with Danny in them. I forgot how much the judges loved him, even when they said he didn’t do his best.

    I read this on twitter from a Danny fan….from the way it is worded my guess is it is a response to an answer from Danny (probably a DM) to this person’s earlier question to him about what breed Fozzy is:

    @dannygokey chow chow mix? really? but mixed with what? Never woulda guessed chow chow mix! anyway, hope you’re having a great day!

    Isn’t that what Pam and her husband had said they thought he was too….with the warning that chows can be a handful?

    Glad you enjoyed the pictures. The shows were really during the day, but the lighting in the room was very tricky. I could use some good classes on how to negotiate around that light. I knew nothing I took was amazing this time, but some were cute anyway. Pictures make me happy for sure, and since I was able to take that nice blue shirt home with me, those from the first show make me even happier.

    I love your pictures from the cruise….but then I ALWAYS love your pictures You are a very talented photographer….I think Danny’s team should hire you!

    I was checking the sites for Danny’s two shows this weekend, and saw that the one in MD is sold out! Yeah….hope we have some ihearties there so we can hear all about it and maybe get pictures and videos too

    Trying to get an interview with a former #AmericanIdol is like trying to get into the White House. I’m hopeful though…

    Yes Asics Randy and I both thought Fozzy was a Chow mix. And yes, they are a handful! As witnessed by Fozzies “adult” behavior. At his age, that is more about dominance. That is why I said he will be needing a lot of guidance from Danny lol! Hopefully Danny won’t be a pushover. We know he is not

    Yes, the Annapolis show was sold out a while ago; interesting small venue- its only about 300 capacity perhaps?

    Asics17 just in case you want to know and you have not yet googled, from your morning post about a tweet that someone thought they saw Danny while they were going to AMCI general session. AMCI stands for Association Management Companies Institute I believe there could be a convention of sorts going on at the Mohegan Sun Casino.
    I have been there before and its a fairly large casino and not too far there is the Pequot Museum. The casino is on an Indian reservation in CT. From the looks of it the Wolf Den is limited capacity. Rascall Flatts will also be performing tomorrow night at one of their other concert venue.
    Darla, I love your pictures and that is why I wasn’t totally upset that mine came out all blurry because I knew I could count on you to take awesome pictures.
    Tomorrow night I will sneak in a question about the single but I expect my answer will be “soon”.
    Do you really think Danny is bringing Fozzy on his trips already?, I am not so sure at this young age…

    asics, who was the interviewer tweeting? I can probably find it, but maybe we could suggest some questions, lol.

    A while ago at mj’s, some of the fans of other AI peeps were talking about the Wolf Den. They said it has limited dedicated seating, but it faces out into an open area where a lot more people can see the shows, and also that the performers can be heard throughout the casino. One of them estimated that a thousand or more people potentially could be the effective audience size.

    The Rams Head is small though.

    I took my 6 week puppy on a six hour drive to a business trip and he held up well, better than I did trying to keep up with him . He was the hit and I had to keep tabs on him to keep someone from leaving with him ..of course I didn’t have people like Danny has traveling with me.

    I agree that we can always count on Darla to bring us great pictures of Danny! Are you going to Mohegan Sun concert tomorrow? If so, you will have to let us know if Danny has Fozzy with him on the trip….and maybe get a video or picture of him for us too

    I have a feeling this weekend shows will be awesome as Danny had had a lot of time off and he will be full of energy and excited to be performing again Sure wish I was able to go!!

    Asics, someone at MJs said RCA Nashville (Danny’s label) signed Bush Hawg, which is a band. So they are back up to 5; Sara Evans, Danny, Jake Owen, Chris Young and Bush Hawg.

    I will be there and I hope to do a better job with my pictures but chances are I will do with more videos. I believe there are quite a few of the twitter fans going and all 4 of us that got the serenade on the cruise. I learned of a fan of Danny’s that will also be there tomorrow night who lives probably minutes from where I live so I am going to be looking for her at the M&G.
    I am bringing a friend that I have known since high school and which I had lost contact with and so last week thru the wonders of facebook we found each other again and she is joining me on this Gokey adventure and without even knowing of him she is so excited to be coming to CT. She did go listen to his songs on my YT account and is so looking forward to hearing him live.
    Danny, we will get there one heart at a time.!
    Danip, cute story, I have never owned a dog. I have a cat who I have had for 12 years our very first pet.

    JB, actually- the way genetics work is that Danny’s dog can be a chow mix even though it doesn’t have a purple tongue and isn’t as fuzzy as a chow (there are actually similarities in the haircoat that I can see).

    That is why some dogs look nothing like the two breeds they are derived from and why some children don’t look a lot like either parent.

    Because of blood testing for pets we are seeing a lot of interesting combinations you would never guess

    The thing with mix breeds is they can carry the characteristics of all of their heritage and none of the physical attributes. It iis quite possible that every puppy in that litter looks like a different breed.

    Another set of dogs that I owned (I have had 9) were full brothers from the same litter, one looked like a shepherd the other very wirehaired. Only thing they had in common was they were huge 110lbs

    Pam I think I just grew them big hey the Irish setter came in at about 90lbs, must have been that country air , yet they all thought they were lap dogs. We got Freebie (picture soon) the cattle dog mix because we wanted a dog that could ride in the car with out us getting out.

    Danny better come up with some news soon cause I’m running out of dog stories and you guys are going to be forced to listen to horse ones if we don’t get something music related soon.

    On that front it looks like david A may be the next label casualty

    I just put up a post with a new concert. Danny will be in Colorado on July 2nd for a rodeo event.

    He has an opening act, Gwen Sebastian. I think I’ve heard her name before but don’t know much about her.
