Jasmine64.Hello I am probably not the one who can solve your problem cause I never been to a M&G.But I do read a lot of recaps.I think you can take a picture and sometimes send a present.I guess it also depends on how many people showing on M&G.

Jasmine, you get probably a minute or two with him since they do it generally 60 minutes before the show.
It is enough time to say Hi, get a hug if you want, get a picture with him. Mike usually takes the pic with a professional camera, they post on DGO and you download there

Pam, no, that was not the hat that was auctioned on the cruise. That hat was an American Idol hat and I don’t remember ever seeing Danny wearing it. This hat (in the pic above) is the hat D was wearing when I first met him in K.C. It was my phone screensaver for the longest time.

I don’t pay too much attention but the hat on the cruise and the one in the pic above look similar to me to the one Danny was wearing in one of the AI mentor shoots. Maybe with Jamie Fox without his glasses? And one of the early radio tour shows, he wore it again or something similar. Like that one a lot better than the train conductor hat

I wondered why Danny didn’t get more itunes promotion from his label when his songs and album first came out. (I better understood the situation later as I read more.)
It appears that itunes placement is maybe a bigger deal and more expensive than I had thought it would be. I know it helps artists to sell, but for itunes to feature them seems to me an easy thing for itunes to do. Easy or not, they must make such placement hard to get.
I was reading (at Idol Chatter) about the guy who won the Keith Urban contest. He won a lot of impressive stuff: recording with Keith, opening for Keith, working with respected people. He also won this:

Steph, the hat in the above pic and my twitpic are different than the hat that was auctioned on the cruise. That hat had a distinct American Idol logo on it. Believe me, I noticed it. Now, D may have worn it in the mentor episode w/ Jamie Foxx but I don’t remember that. All I know is this, the hat I want is the one from my twitpic….which is not the same hat as there is no logo.

XLGokey, he is the Green Bay Packers Quarterback (Danny’s team from Wisconsin) who won the Superbowl (the ultimate in American sports)
He is a Danny fan. He only follows 20 people and Danny is one of them.
Maybe someone else on Twitter could also tweet Aaron- @aaronrodgers12 with the link http://ow.ly/3X44X and include @dannygokey if they want. I don’t want to spam him since I already did it once.

It’s interesting that we hear some of Danny’s songs on tonight’s episode of Idol. It makes me wonder how short the list of songs is that they get to choose from. I think they said the groups only had 20 songs to choose from.

Interesting comment at mj’s from a poster who is taking some sort of entertainment industry class in LA. She’s a Kris fan so maybe she is just being protective about expectations to sell out venues of varying sizes, but the more general comments are interesting. Reminds me of the report from the Vermont fair, where Danny had (for him) a smaller crowd but the report was Wynonna had only 50-75 or some number thereabouts for her solo show.
On the specific example, I tend to agree though, not sure Crystal would be a very obvious concert draw. But may be wrong, depending on the situation. Her album is selling considerably better than I would have guessed from what she did on AI, how the voting turned out, and listening to samples from the album. Last I heard, Crystal really didn’t have a band of any regular sort.

Did any of the Idols from S9 do a CD release concert like Danny? Danny sold out Turner Hall –I think he could have filled the Riverside for his CD release party. We knew a 1000 was too small for Danny….
