Morning everyone. Rachel- sorry to hear about you parting ways with your husband. Glad to see you are at peace. I don’t know much about dogs, as I had my share of cats growing up., But, I do know that Fozzy is an adorable puppy! I wonder if Danny will have to have a caregiver for the puppy, since he was not home much last year. Well, off to work, have a good Tuesday all.

Loving the new little puppy Fozzie but I’m with Danip, a little news on the single would be nice. Jan, Danny’s new puppy has me thinking about another one but I already have Timmy the standard poodle.

I read some of the comments from last night (yes my computer at home is sick ARRGG) and I think Fozzy hash some Shepard in him. But that is just me. I bet if Pam could see him in person she could tell right away. Love Steph idea about getting our pet pictures together. My daughters and family will tell you that I have two passions in my life my dogs (I have 3) and Danny Gokey. So I am not going to start on my dogs cuz I would be here all day. Well better get back to work (yuck) did not win the lottery yet so I should make some money to buy puppy food. Everyone have a great day

Hi Lulu, I think Kathy meant “Lulu” as a cute nick name for Lucy her dog. Not sure about the “bug” but it seems to be part of the nick name.

Lulu, I think that is Kathy’s nickname or term of endearment for her dog. We will often attach the word “bug” to a nickname for a child, baby or pet as a term of affection. English is so strange isn’t it? Who would think a “bug” would be cute?
Rach, I’m sorry to hear that, I know it seemed like you had stress. I’m glad you are coming to terms with it.
I sent my animal pics in! I looked for Chip & Dale, even though I didn’t see a rat in your pics STeph- couldn’t find any rat ones though, lol. But I think Fozzy would just as soon use a rat as a squeeky toy and not play with it!

Lulu, your name is so cute, there are a lot of pets with it, and it is a common nickname for those named Lucy and Louise and even Laura at times.
lulu.I never know it can be a pet’s name.That explains the rabbit thing.
I am so sorry Lulu. I have nick names for all of my pups. Lucy loves it when I call her Lulu bug or buggy and sometimes she is Lucy Lu. When I call her by Lucy it is usually to give her a command but when she is being loveable and cute I talk to her by using her nick name. She loves it. I love the name Lulu. And my Mom always told my kids when they were babies that they were as cute as a bug. I know bugs being cute just doesn’t sound right. Thanks Pam for getting me out of trouble here.
Steph you have a pet rat. I heard that they do make great pets. We had an Iguana and my daughter has pictures somewhere with Yoshi sitting on my head with his long tail hanging down. Never thought I could love an Iguana but I did.

I also finally got around to watching Karri’s video for Soul Surfer. It was great as usual! Movie looks interesting, I love Helen Hunt. Although I have to say the one clip I saw of Carrie’s acting in it was ~so so.

I think the Amazon increase is because of the Opry appearance. (The Opry appearance is the reason I checked.)
Tourists visit the Opry. Some may be impressed enough to remember Danny and look up his music. The increase is not as quickly seen as an increase from Idol. With Idol, people are probably at home watching. If they want to buy online, they can do it right away.
With tourists at the Opry (and at other concerts), I think they get back home and settled; then some may remember Danny and buy.

Thanks for posting the video of Danny’s Hero, Lurker. ‘ToothlessMI’ used Danny’s performance song instead of the studio version. Nice with all of the applause in the background.
That makes sense about the increase coming from the Opry. It seemed they had a full house that night. OR…. the increase could be the “Fozzy” effect.
I’m not on twitter. (I read tweets, but I don’t tweet.) During the talk after the Super Bowl NA, I kept wishing someone would tweet Aaron Rodgers a link to Danny’s rodeo NA with the tweet “This is the way the NA should be done.”
In my wish, of course, Aaron would retweet that tweet, and Danny’s NA could be heard by more people.
Hasn’t happened yet.
I keep wishing for recognition of how well Danny sings The NA. Maybe someday.

Not sure what the “heads up” is in reference to, but interesting he sent a song to Danny. I wonder if they have a call out for songs for Danny’s new album, in addition to Danny’s co-writing. Most likely there will be a mix of songs he was involved with writing, and some he didn’t.

Right now just two cats XL Gokey. We will probably get a dog this spring though. My last dog died about 2 years ago and we just have been too busy to get another- dogs require so much more commitment than cats do.

Pam, nope. Seemed to me from his twitter he was more of an aspiring songwriter than someone established, but only briefly looked at it. The person he was tweeting to, we have seen before, Someone here knows her or spoke to her, possibly?
I just thought it was interesting if it was any hint that RCA is looking for songs, as well as supporting Danny in his songwriting efforts. Nothing surprising probably, but we need some kind of little tiny teeny weeny musical hint to chew on for the new album

Pam this is me although it’s been 5 1/2 years. I feel so guilty after 25 years of having a dog that I am enjoying the fredoom. That said there is definitely another dog in the future, just what kind seems to be the hang up. Not much for the little dogs and a large dog (been there, done that) so it will probably be another cattle dog type

Danip, that is the situation with me too; I wound up being the sole care taker, exerciser of our dog. My daughter is pleading, promising she will walk the dog, but you know how that will go
We are thinking smaller this time; 20-40#. I”ve always had big dogs so may try the smaller size.

I would think they want a mix of co writes (who knows how many Danny songs will make the album?) and songs by professional writers.

Pam, just remember that daughter will be out the door very soon and a pet (hopefully) will last a long time. So don’t give in on the pet unless you want one. Don’t do what I did. And sometimes they are not nice pets—->my daughter’s cat Micka. She hates all other cats, dogs and almost all people. She likes Ed, though.
I do hope Danny and the label gets that darn single out soon. If back when IWNSGB disappeared from the charts, you told me that mid-February we still wouldn’t know about the next single, I would have been horrified. (At least we got TN Christmas to keep us warm for awhile.) And the cruise news really does help. Danip, we need you add a little pressure to Danny.
I find it funny that Lee’s fans are expecting another single to be released right away. Really? I think not…but as we all know, I could be wrong on that too.
