Kathy I thought that was funny what you said about your DIL’s initials. I met a guy Brian once was talking to him about this and he told me how embarrasing it was for him because his spelled out the word bra. Mine is CAR which I always thought was ironic because I like to be gone alot so mine fits me perfectly.

While the site was down I went to DannyGokey .com to look for information about tomorrow’s event. It is confusing for me to find information there. I didn’t find anything about October 1. First date I found was October 3.
I have been thinking for a while that there will be no press release for Danny’s tour. It’s already fall, and he’s already touring. I did see this announcement at Danny’s site:
There was a link to dates (but I didn’t find Oct. 1 listed). Maybe that announcement is the only one there will be?
I didn’t realize that tonight’s Pajama jam was a breast cancer event.
Those ladies are really in for a treat tonight with Danny and Chuck Wicks.
Lurker, If I remember correctly, Danny mentioned in an interview with Amy that there would be no formal announcement of a tour, just more dates added to those dates already listed and to just keep checking DGO for dates. I haven’t checked recently to see if more dates have been added – I know that Steph and others have picked up some new dates. Wish we could get a look at his official schedule from his management team – guess that is wishful thinking.

May well be wrong (happens all the time, lol), but at this point it would surprise me if they aren’t saving some of the dates to make an announcement for the fall tour. It’s quite unusual to have so many open spots on his calendar that we haven’t seen posted or tracked down via our iheart antennae. Especially when we know that there are three dozen dates coming, most of which haven’t been accounted for yet. Maybe nearly all of them.

What I like the best about the new updated site is the flashing pics of the current Danny news at the Top. I think that is a nice and attractive way to inform people about what is currently going on with Danny.

Lizzy, I don’t know, lol. Maybe the string of tour dates they are talking about doesn’t really start for a while, and they want to have some news to circulate beforehand including whether there is an opening or not?
In the past, we’ve seen some of his dates months in advance, at varying intervals before the events.
I don’t think making a press release is that big a deal. I don’t know why they wouldn’t. I’ve seen them when various other artists have done mini-tours much shorter than Danny seems to be talking about. And getting a press release circulating could presumably only help to sell the tickets. Maybe they meant before to tie it to when IWNSG was starting to rise higher in the charts, and now they have to revise some plans a bit.

Re: The judges’ picture at the WDEZ link you posted. Randy and Steven have almost the same pose, with their arms hugged against themselves. JLo a little bit but not as noticably closed in. I wonder if they feel vulnerable and scared of what’s ahead this season. Or maybe the room is cold?

My granddaughter came to visit tonight at our house for the first time. My dog, Gigi, licked her head. Cecilia has a binky with a stuffed animal attached. Gigi wanted that so badly. I think I see a lot of chasing the dog to retrieve baby toys in my future. She slept in her crib here while we had dinner. I got to put on her jammies before she went home.

Pjgvet – My daughter loves country, she’s been to 6 Rascal Flatts concerts with me. I even made her come to see Chuck Wicks with me this summer. She didn’t complain, but I don’t think she was thrilled. BUT, by the end of the show, she wanted to marry him. I know it will be the same for Danny
She said today, you know, I only KIND OF like Crazy Not To and Endless Love…and that’s it! I’m not fooled 
And YES…my friend and I will be at Wausau! Will you? That’s when I’m giving him the calendar

Josie, You have to watch Jaron’s videos. Actually there are two. One he is wishing all these terrible things will happen to her. The second is the girlfriend, played by Jaime Pressley, making his life miserable. I guess that was to make you understand why he wanted her plane to crash.
Maybe that’s why you didn’t pick up on my joke right away. They played that video so much it was almost impossible not to see it. You must be quick with the remote.

I actually do want to learn a lot more German, I know just a very little. Been to Germany twice and visited my best friend’s family there. His parents speak English but Oma and Opa don’t. And as I’ve mentioned, his little boy is 3, and he is learning to speak German and English at the same time. Sometimes he says things in German to me that I don’t understand and I don’t like that. Tante Josie needs to get with the program!

I must be the only person who doesn’t like the changes at iheartdannygokey.com. I can’t get the new setup to work at all on my work computer. I did clear my cache. My work computer uses IE. (I don’t know whether that would make a difference.) But it takes iheart forever to load now (and my work computer used to be quicker than my home computer for loading). I can’t scroll at all, and the arrow keys don’t work. Sometimes the page down will work, but not always. And the page moves around, so I can’t read the comments in order. In fact, most of the time I can’t read the comments at all, because the page will jump from one comment to another. I wasn’t able to vote from work. I don’t understand it; iheart worked fine yesterday on my work computer!
I don’t think I’ll be around much anymore. Most of the time when I post it’s from work, and my hours are such that, combined with being in the Pacific Time Zone, I won’t be around at home when anyone else is around (like now).
The site is prettier, but I’m not certain that there has been an overall improvement in functionality. I can honestly say that if this had been the iheart site last summer, I never would have started reading iheart and then posting, because I would have found it too intimidating. What I loved about the old iheart was that it was intuitive and easy to navigate.
Don’t misunderstand. There are real improvements. I suspect the comments are easier to read. Shirl used to complain about that, and she might like the new design. I also suspect that it might be easier to find old posts, etc., in the archives. And maybe I will like it better if I get used to it. But not having any useful access to iheart at work sucks. That’s a lot less voting that I will be able to do. No more late night chats . . .
I’m sorry. I can imagine how hard Erika worked on this, so I feel bad saying all this. If no one else with IE is having problems (and I think that there already would be feedback if that were the case), then I can’t imagine what the problem is with my work computer. It isn’t usable at all.
Oh Ellen, I feel for you.
Maybe Erika can have an alternative solution for those with issues with their computers.
Don’t just give up yet.
