His best days may very well still be ahead of him, but Danny Gokey is doing pretty good for himself right now.
His March 2 debut album, “My Best Days,” sold more than 65,000 copies in its first week, delivering the best numbers for a debut country male since 1992, and landed the No. 3 spot on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart. And he’s not done yet.
Gokey will bring his emotional, edgy country sound to Gray on Monday, Aug. 23, to kick off the Main Stage entertainment for the 2010 Appalachian Fair.

Danny, we watched every minute of your great show at the Applachian Fair, Gray, Tn tonight. We couldn’t believe we were able to see you in person. What a great entertainer you are.
