Yeah I got to learn to scroll down. I listened and Danny sounds very relaxed these days, waiting for the other parts.
I think that Danny definitely seems relaxed and looks good in that video from this morning.
I had read that Kris and Allison will be taping an appearance for Oprah. They will be doing a duet together. I wonder if this will be for a particular theme, maybe an Idols theme? I do remember Oprah saying she wanted to do a show focusing on the different versions of Idol around the world. I don’t know if she’s done that show yet. If not it could be for something like that.

It’s nice things are starting to look good for Allison, she’s got around a dozen dates scheduled for Adam so far as an opener but it’s not the entire tour. It looks like Adam’s remixes EP did hit #1 singles in Canada so maybe the US does have a problem with him. It doesn’t make sense that he got it for a single though. Danny’s been on the Canadian chart for 7 weeks now, his album is currently at #44.

Such a cute interview with that Big D & Bubba. Man, they really want Danny to release the new single. It is interesting to see these DJs so excited for that next release.

Hello IHearties! I love also listening to Danny’s speaking voice, because it’s so warm and soft. The radio station DJs must enjoy interviewing Danny, beacuse he is so witty and has a great sense of humour.
I have a hectic schedule and don’t have much time to comment, but really enjoy starting my days by reading the comment thread from the previous day before leaving for work.
Let’s keep the donations coming in for Erika’s trip to US. She has dedicated so much of her time, emotion and energy for this site and deserves to meet Danny. We can all make it happen for her!

The spincrease chart on all access is both the monitored/unmonitored ones he’s at +216, definitely good. Also The Band Perry has another song out even though there’s is still climbing. I think Kellie Pickler’s song was sent out when she was still climbing. So I won’t be surprised if I Will Not Say GoodBye gets released very soon-this week or next two before his single peaks. Just to give the song a start since it takes a while to get anywhere.

I have no reason to belieive the label will release IWNSG until they believe that MBD is done. They will not want to rob Peter to pay Paul at this point and they cannot afford to split spins at this point.
Danny made a point this morning that they will not release the song until they get the first single wher they want it.
The situation with TBP is different as that is a album cut at this point and it only has 25 spins the majority of them from Houston. As their album just came out it is not unusual for songs of the album to chart. Danny had this same thing happen with two of the songs off his album LYA and LTABT.
Kellie song had been on the chart so long 30+ weeks and they also knew it had reached its satuaration point.
So we will need to wait a bit for a new Danny single, probably closer to June if not later.

Hey Cherie, if you have listened to today’s BigDBubba interview, he said that they’ll release IWNSG after MBD hits #1, maybe 10 weeks later…
Actually to be honest I don’t think we can take that too seriously, but at least, I think that shows them still want to push MBD to as high as possible. They will not give up in the near future as long as it’s still climbing. 
Hannele, Gee, I’ve probably missed you again. Yes, the time difference is rough, trying to be online when everyone is on here chatting and you international friends are sleeping. I’m just happy to see you here when we can.
I have an odd day today, in and out every two hours. Our dog just got diagnosed with diabetes and today we are doing the blood sugar screening. I didn’t want Rusty to stay at the vet’s office all day, and in a cage, while they do the test every two hours, so they are letting us bring him in every two hours for the blood work. It’s a good thing that the vet is only 1 mile from our house.
Okay, Cherie. I was just wondering. I follow the ihearts on twitter. I don’t tweet much either.

I can’t listen to the interview, it’s good that he thinks it can reach far though. The more confidence the better, he must be getting more positive feedback recently. Didn’t he say something last month about the music video coming out this month though? I don’t remember exactly when or what was said. I just thought the music video was very close.
I don’t get Houston at all, they do seem to support artists but won’t touch others.
I thought that it was interesting today in the radio interview how Danny said IWNSG will be released after MBD hits #1. At first I thought he was joking about that, but then he repeated it later on in the interview. So maybe he was only halfway joking. MBD probably won’t reach #1, but I think that his label might try and get it higher, if they can.
We’ll see what happens, Danny has gotten a lot of adds so far, but those stations in Texas still haven’t added him yet. Plus I think there are still stations that have added his song, that aren’t playing it that much.
He hasn’t gotten a lot of adds in the last few weeks, but he has been added by over 100 stations so far. I think it would help him out a lot if he gets played more by the stations that have already added him.
I guess technically he can stay on mediabase for as long as he wants as long as he increases in spins and with audience impression. We’ll see how much farther he can go up the charts. Maybe this week, he might hit at least #25 on the mediabase chart, the highest he’s been ranked on mediabase so far.

It’s a biblical saying, steal from someone to pay someone else. Using his spins to give his other song spins. He must be getting wonderful feedback lately about it. I love his confidence, he’s needs that and so do I.
Does anyone think he’s aware of Texas-the 90% refusing to play his song? Two stations won’t even put it on their request forms much less add it to their playlists. It can’t be feedback because they aren’t playing it to get any feedback. It can’t be sales because his cd is selling down here. It can’t be because of demand because he had a lot of people turning to see him when he did the Dallas station visit. People are interested in him I’m just a little bit lost with the radion. It’s also not because his song is not that high. I’ve heard every other top 30-40 country song besides his.

I think Danny was joking about MBD hitting #1. Its his usual self deprecating humor; although I haven’t listened to the second part of the interview yet. I wouldn’t think they would release #2 either until #1 is def. on its way out.
Cherie they said they were filming the music vid; not releasing it. I’m sure they wanted that out of the way before starting the Sugarland tour.
VC, so sorry to hear about your dog. Hope it goes well. Make sure he is not on Vetsulin- there are problems with it and it is withdrawn from the market.

Sorry to start the Peter/Paul confusion lulu. Basically in a nutshell it means to take from one to benefit another to the detriment of the first.

Cherie exampled it very well. It would take away spins from MBD if IWNSG came out too soon. If they wait until MBD gets as high as it can, then IWNSG won’t be taking spins away from MBD. Radio stations will want to play the newer song more than MBD.
Texas will warm up to Danny. Texas Stations are more of the traditional country so it will take more time for them to accept Danny as a true country artist.

I am glad to see that Danny didn’t have that big of a drop from last week. I am happy to see that Danny still managed to sell over 4,000 albums last week. I think his sales might be stable for longer or could possibly go up once he starts touring.

It’s looks like next week he should be near half of the album’s that Kris sold. He’s getting there. I was just able to listen to the interview, definitely kidding I’m not going to take a word of it seriously, I’m hoping that it does it #1. We can all party if that happens.
They added some categories to billboard for digital recently which gave Kris his #1, if they would have done that for digital country albums. He would’ve got it already.
I almost think he moved up for country albums, should be #17.

I was looking at mjs and see that some people are making digs at Danny, including some where they are trying to compare this season’s contestants to Danny. I think that a lot of people like to compare different contestants to Danny, even though some of the contestants that they are comparing Danny to are nothing like him. I don’t think that anyone from this season is like Danny.

Danny made history, we’ll see if anyone from this season can. Honestly though he’s in a league above them-this season’s group. I know I compare then but I guess it’s not fair to compare the pro’s to the non-pro’s. I didn’t like it last year.

Also Kris is close to the point where he’s stopped selling, he’s been in the 290,000′s for around a month or two. It’s going to take him a while to get to the 300,000 mark. Those are just haters who don’t like him. Just like Allison’s been in the 90,000 for a month, two or three and it’s going to take her a while to hit 100,000.
I do wonder if his numbers are off though because it didn’t match what billboard had. For now Danny’s selling more than good and Kris is not except for his single. If he didn’t have a hit song he would be in big trouble as the expectations of a winner.
According to Brian Mansfield Danny sold around 3,000 copies of his single “My Best Days” last week putting his total number of single sales to around 94,000.

With Kris and Allison being on Oprah that’ll help them a bit with a sales boost. Otherwise it’s not much for either of them unless they can change things around. There’s no doubt that Danny won’t pass up Kris within a year if not sooner. Both of those guys will probably go through a change around the time idol ends this season.

I think that Danny has a minus because Brian Mansfield rounds the numbers. So maybe the actual number of singles that Danny sold was like 3,000 something or in the late 2,000′s but Brian rounded it to the nearest 1,000 which was 3,000.
If Danny can average at least 2,000 for singles for a few more weeks, he can hit the 100,000 marks in singles. That won’t be gold or platinum, but it will show that he has come a long way from the 8,000 that he started out with.

Quick math 20 weeks a 3,000=60,000. Which is over his total with the sales from idol. So he’s definitely beat my expectations. Which is part of the reason why I think his song is a hit. People keep buying it, if it’s not then they don’t. I do think his song can get far if it gets PLAYED ON THE RADIO. Definitely he’s come a long way. I’m very proud of him.

People were making digs about Danny in the headlines thread at mjs today, like calling him the “D” word, that he’s been called a lot in the past.
I think it’s because people were speculating why Kris didn’t win Idol, and Danny got brought into that conversation. I did say a lot of different stuff in that conversation today, because I wanted to speculate about that and because some people kept making digs at Danny. They kept insulting him, including insulting him when they were comparing him to idols from this season.
I wonder if one of the reasons why they were saying mean stuff about him is because I was saying different stuff about Kris, (not mean stuff) and they wanted to insult him because I’m a Danny fan? They were being meaner towards Danny than they have been in a while.

The haters are always going to judge him regardless if nobody mentions his name or not and will bring it up when they want too. It like drinking a glass of polluted water. I wouldn’t but because some tells me that water it good for you people drink it. Me personally I would look to see if it was clear for myself. I would take somebody’s else’s opinion if water is safe to drink or not. My own judgement what I see when I look into the glass is good enough for me. If it’s brown or black I wouldn’t touch it no matter how good someday told me it was.

Loved the interview today! So cute.
WV billboards – one is about 4 blocks from my house! I did a double take when I saw it…Danny much bigger than life! I didn’t get a pic but here’s what it looked like:
It’s basically all shades of blue. Big picture of Danny’s face on the left with his name underneath. On the right it says “Amazing voice by nature,” “Amazing vision by us.” (I’m pretty sure that’s right) I hope someone posts a picture online for you all to see it.

Milgokey, I have a mental image of you sitting at that intersection, with horns blaring behind you to try to jolt you out of your Danny-inspired reverie as the traffic light goes from red to green to yellow again.
Also glad to read that Danny only dropped 9% in album sales with over 4,000 albums sold. He is still on Billboard 200 after two months which is good. I am hoping he will stay on it until the tour with Sugarland starts because I think he will pick up new fans. Can’t wait to find out what the set list for the tour is because I am going on May 16th.

Was reading something interesting at MJ’s on the sales thread. They were talking about how Kris does not have a merchandise table at his concerts and does not sell his CD’s. I find that very interesting that we know that Danny is selling his CD at his concerts and I assume he will be selling them at the Sugarland concert but they are think he is so clueless. It is funny that we know that Danny is very smart, has good business sense and is savy and good at promoting himself. If I could post at MJ’s I would point out to them that Danny always sells his CD’s at concerts. They were also saying that David Cook never sold his CD’s at concerts, interesting.

Hi guys, Ed and I just watched and listened to Danny roar on the Nashville station—he is so much fun to watch! Can you imagine how much fun he is around family and friends?
I remember Ivan’s wife saying in an interview shortly after AI 9 ended that the one thing most people don’t know about Danny is that he is the life of a party– and Sophia was like that too.

Can someone explain ChartCountry? When I stopped by, it was showing that MBD had only 1% of the vote, and it was listed as a song that ranked between 41 and 50. My understanding is that any song ranked outside the top 40 for three weeks would be replaced by a new song.
What I DON’T know is whether that was Danny’s position for the past week, or whether that is Danny’s position (so far) for this week. In other words, have I hit ChartCountry as it is starting another week? Either way, I don’t like Danny being outside the top 40!
Maybe we need regular reminders to vote (and when) on ChartCounty, WMZQ, etc.
Evening everyone. That’s great that Danny didn’t go down too much in sales this past week. I see he really has a lot going on in June. His management team really seems to be piling on the dates for him. I think that should really produce some decent sales for him by the end of the summer
. I will have to check out that Wisconsin Vision billboard. I’m sure Danny looks great. I’m not surprised some of the haters are still coming out against Danny. It gets really old as far as I’m concerned-not even worth my time responding. We all know Danny will be a huge success regardless of the negative comments

Mediabase shows Danny at 1497 spins up 111 and sitting at #26.
Even though it had a PM time on the upper right date/time.

Sometimes mediabase doesn’t seem to update a lot or at all but they seem to generate the charts twice a day.

For Ellen, I believe that chartcountry.com poll is used by Michael J. in relation to his syndicated show that runs in different areas, including Jan’s neck of the woods I think. Last time I looked (a few days ago) MBD was pretty high. If it’s looking low now, I’m not sure if that is last week’s chart, or this week’s and it may look low with a low count of votes coming in. We know Michael J likes Danny and plays him when he has a chance, so in this case I think the poll just gives him a better excuse

I believe Sugarland is at the Cheyenne WY event, but whether it will be like a regular tour date or more a festival arrangement I’m not sure. It is associated to a Frontier Days event in Cheyenne, not at a concert arena.

Saw that Erika posted the date in Missouri is confirmed now. That was one of a handful of dates where it seemed possible Danny could be performing but we hadn’t seen any information to prove either way. There are still a few others out there like that, around the time Danny rejoins Sugarland in late July/early August with Little Big Town.
07/23 Twin Lakes, WI Country Thunder (believe this is out now that I look at it again, this is the date with Tim McGraw in Charlotte?)
07/24 Eau Claire, WI Country Jam USA (may be a good guess that Danny could do this one before meeting Sugarland the next day in MO?)
07/31 Minot, ND North Dakota State Fair (this is the day after Danny has back-to-back dates with Sugarland in ALbuquerque and Cheyenne, so also seems in the good-bet category)

The two Sugarland dates in Wisconsin I’m pretty sure he’s not there. Country Thunder has been promoted heavily on the radio station without him and with other people.
The Chart Country I think Danny was outside the number #40 last week. They don’t have his song listed. With the number of votes that they have I think it’s for this week and not the upcoming week. So this is the 2rd week on the bottom. Week 3 they remove it from the list. I think we should suggest this to other people so he get the extra spins next week.
I actually heard his song on the radio a few hours ago, it’s been too long. It made my day literally. It was an odd station too not one of the ones that I was requesting at. I’m glad I picked it up finally.

Jason Boland and the Stragglers’ live recording High in the Rockies lands at 130 this week while Christian Country artist Guy Penrod’s Breathe Deep landed at 172 in its second week on the charts. Gloriana returned to the Top 200 this week as well.

Just a tidbit, while I was waiting at that traffic signal tonight I noticed some teenage boys walking up the street and they kept looking up at Danny’s billboard, over and over. That picture sure is going to attract a lot of attention.
There also is a Wisconsin Vision store just across the street from the billboard. I wouldn’t imagine Danny’s upcoming visit would be there, though, because it is a pretty small store. If anyone gets a tip on which store it will be, please post!
The “Dream” commercial did air during AI. I was out of the room and had to dash right back in when I heard his voice!

I was a bit surprised by Siobhan leaving Idol tonight. I really do love Lady A’s song Need You Now. I think I bought it and I Run to You in the fall before it became a huge hit. Danny is soooo much better than Gary Levox of Rascal Flatts IMO.

That chartcountry site is very confusing, according to this Danny was on the lower list once, or maybe this week will be the second if he stays in the lower 10.

I think his dates in Rockton, Summerfest, Baraboo and Chicago area are supposed to make for this shows he wouldn’t be at in Wisconsin that Sugarland has. He might have something in his contract that says he can’t perform at another place within a certain amount of miles of the venue. So they make sure that everyone attends the date that they have. So since he has other dates close to these I’m certain it’s no with Sugarland.

. Wow, I watched the fox17 news video. They seems to really like him. They said tomorrow night’s performance in Nashville is sold out. That’s great! It sounds like his video will not come out til sometime in summer. I didn’t watch idol last night, but wasn’t surprised who was voted off. I still think it’s down to Lee and Crystal.
