Fair entertainment to feature a music legend, pulls and crashes
Country artists, a classic rock band, and lots of pulling and crashing fill the entertainment lineup for The Great Frederick Fair, which will run from Sept. 17 to 25 this year.
Country music legend Merle Haggard kicks off the entertainment on Sept. 18.

Closing out the grandstand entertainment Sept. 25, are Craig Morgan and Danny Gokey.
A 10-year veteran of the Army, Morgan’s songs reflect his honesty, humility and work ethic. His hits include “Redneck Yacht Club,” “Tough,” “Love Remembers” and “International Harvester.” Gokey came to fame on the 2009 season of “American Idol,” where he placed third. His debut album, “My Best Days,” along with the title track single, debuted earlier this year.

Rounding out the week in front of the grandstand will be Craig Morgan and American Idol
celebrity Danny Gokey, with their 7:30 p.m. show time. Tickets are $42 each for reserved track
seats and $37 for reserved grandstand.

I was looking at the calander of evernts and saw two dates for Danny at the opry and Rhyman theatre. I can’t find them now. Did something change or was i dreaming this morning. Thanks Kat

Kathy, welcome. There had been an indication Danny would perform at the Opry in July but that is no longer on the Opry calendar.
He still has a date to perform at the Opry (Ryman Auditorium) on August 24th. You can see it on our calendar here
