GokeyGuy, Loved reading your recap. You have to make it to another of Danny’s concert and be able to meet him. Once you see him live you just want to keep going to his concerts. I truly hope that it will happen again for you.

Hey Gokeyguy!! Loved,loved,loved your recap!! especially this: “Here are those moments when I said like 30+ OMGs (audible and silent) and smiled like there’s no tomorrow”. Then you went on to describe the songs Danny sang and your reaction.
I was smiling all the way through reading your recap – but sad you didn’t get to meet Danny. Although remember when our ‘princess’ Stephanie didn’t meet Danny first time she saw him? Look what happened after that!!! AND – she will be meeting him again!!
So there is hope for you Jan!! Just so pleased you got to experience Danny’s music, meet & make some great friends and bask in the man that is Daniel Jay Gokey!!!

GG- great recap I love how descriptive your recap was. You spoke about how each song was sung and your reaction to it. I know you wlll get to meet Danny some day. It was nice to see a male’s perspective on Danny’s concert .

Great recap! I felt your enthusiasm and joy and really felt like I was there.

All the ladies said how cute you were in person

Danny did really look at you, I’m positive. He has said he always finds people in the audience to focus on. And I think he especially noticed you as a guy and different ethnic persuasion!

Don’t worry; I’m pretty sure you will meet him! And now that SHF are selling passes you can get one of those if he comes near you again <3

Gokeyguy, loved your recap! So full of your vibrant personality! Glad you loved Danny’s performance. YAY! (But was there any doubt you would?)

I’m pretty sure that Danny really did notice you in the audience, on the occasion when you thought he made eye contact with you. I’m sure he did. And if people tweeted that you were going to be there (and assuming Danny saw the tweets), then I would bet that he even guessed who you might be. I love your description of smiling all the way to your ears! I think listening to Danny’s music and being in his vicinity just naturally does that to people. I remember my Wilkes-Barre friend saying that I was “glowing” when I waited to meet Danny. (Trust me, I don’t normally glow!)

Gokeyguy, I don’t think making the heart sign is a girl thing. After all, Danny makes it and he’s not a girl, is he? I think the heart sign is tied to SHF and the memory of Sophia, so it’s appropriate for male fans to do it. Maybe next time? Because I bet there will be a next time! YAY!

Gokeyguy I just want to say, I love your beautiful recap, I can really feel your gentle heart and passion for sweet Danny. I really loved it when you said Danny looked you straight in the eye and you stopped taking pictures to make eye contact with him LOL, how awesome is that?!! I believe you will meet Danny in person one day, get your manhug ( he loves to hug everyone!), and then he will always remember your name!! you are just gettin started Gokeyguy, Continue on the Danny ride!!
