    I don’t think I need to say how much I love the MBD video… It’s totally amazing! But, about grabbing the video from AI site… I can’t believe they didn’t have any protection at all! Yep, I grabbed it, very easily… of course I WILL buy it when it’s on iTunes! Just a little disappointed why they didn’t even try to protect it… Frown

    morning all — I’m not sure what that is on youtube. Wouldn’t Danny’s official video be up on his own youtube channel? Plus you’d guess they would wait since AI supposedly has the 48-hour exclusive for it.

    That YT version does have a link to buy the song, but not sure if that can be added by anyone. The profile for the person who posted that says they are 18 years old. May be just a fan who pulled a copy off the AI site. If so, suspect Sony will come knocking to get it taken down.

    Hello Gokeyworld! I’ve been away for a while, but have kept up with the news. Absolutely LOVE the music video! Danny is just so good at everything he does. He is so natural in the front of the camera and looks really good.

    I’m more or less finished with my writing task and will be back here more often. Today I have to attend to a client event, which starts in couple of hours, but wanted to come here to say hello to everybody.

    ihearties, this is Sharon…..I called KXKT the radio station just now and they told me to come down sweetheart and they are going to let me in to see Danny. They said be here by 9:00 that would be central time. He also is going to be on the air with them I am sure they will be live streaming at least I hope they are for you.     Good Morning All! I cannot stop watching the video, it is awesome and although I believe I remember an interview where he says he was uncomfortable while shooting it he looks awesome and the positive messages was a great idea for the video and fits perfectly with the message of the song.
    Someone posted this last night here that there is a clip in the video of the pink sky sort of like the picture he posted with the heart shape in it, very good catching that since I thought the same thing when I first saw it.
    Helio Thank you for the links about the article since around here I cannot find that issue yet but I am sure I will pick one up when its gets on the sheleves and maybe one day have it autographed if it is possible. I hope it all works out for Sharon this morning that she gets to meet him. Have a great day.

    “What sells this mv is Danny’s beautiful vocals. I am seeing more and more why the judges wanted an Adam/Danny finale. As an Adam fan, it’s too easy for me to compare the vids because Adam is basically an actor as well as a singer, so his vids look more professional. However, Danny looks great, and this is a good first attempt. With Danny’s vocals, I think he’ll be quite successful in the country genre. As he gets some success, he can cross over and sing what he actually wants to sing.

    Latrece Good Morning! what we had all been waiting for is finally here and he did not disappoint at all it is just amazing and he sure works the camera well. I truly think that Danny is heading towards a very long and successful career. I am going to inform my radio station today about his video and ask for the song to be played although they are already doing a great job playing it. I cannot stay and hear the streaming since I have to be at work by 9AM Eastern time but I am confident that I will be able to catch it tonight.

    Danny’s video is so awesome, I can’t get enough of it!

    Steph, yeah, @h2oconvo is a huuuuuge Kris fan and sometimes do snark on Danny but I think she’s been less snarky since we started tweeting during AI tour. I told her that I really liked her blog but that sometimes she was mean to Danny and I’d feel hurt. She apologized but she said she can’t help it sometimes… I do understand because sometimes I can’t control myself on my snark on Kris as well so I think we’re even. Today she was upset because someone posted a hater comment about Kris on her blog, saying that him going to Haiti to help is publicity stunt… haters, go figure…

    Sometimes she even sends links to me when she finds Danny news while she’s searching for news about Kris. We had a discussion on twitter earlier on, trying to find the director for MBD. You saw the result of that exchange.

    I don’t think that allaccess has updated the 7 Day Rolling chart yet. They have Danny’s numbers as the same from yesterday and Montgomery Gentry’s numbers the same as well. Hopefully the chart will be updated some time today.

    Also Danny’s video will eventually be put on Itunes so that we can purchase it. I think that it will cost like $1.99. It won’t be as hard to get Danny to a higher position on the music video charts on Itunes, because people normally buy less videos than they do songs.

    I think that is my favorite version of Tiny Life so far. I like more harmonizing with Brandon on the vocals- I hope the studio version is like that.

    DJ’s sure seeemed to love it and no (Windmills) they are not complimenting him to be polite; they obviously are sincere because of their insightful comments on how he connects with his audience.

    Hi everyone! Ha everyone come down from their high from last night? What an amazing video. Danny looks gorgeous and I love his inspirational messages. The video suits him perfectly and defines who he is as a performer and person.

    WOW!!!That radio DJ said Danny singing live was a highlight for him. It seems that every DJ that hears him is blown away by his amazing voice. I hope it continues to translate into continuously increasing spins for Danny!

    I hope IWNSGB is Danny’s second single. I can just imagine how big of a hit it would be. So many people can relate to losing someone they love. I would love to see a video of the song. It would also be a perfect song for a movie!

    Yep, Pam. She sure does love her dances. I only let her go with a group, because she is only in 7th grade and is 12, but she’d really like to go with a date. Has her eye on a young man in our neighborhood, and he has his on her. God help me.

    My daughter does not have a boyfriend yet (15) and I am really happy; she always goes to dances with a big group of girls, and some boys. I would be happy if she went all through High School without one; a girlfriend wrecked my son’s Sophomore year. He’s ok now though, and current girlfriend is great and they are level headed.

    I don’t know if anyone saw one of my tweets I sent Danny about my housekeeper, Theresa. She now loves Danny! I showed her how to play ITunes on my PC so she could listen to music while she is at my home and she told me she likes Danny and listens to him the whole time she is there! I am going to buy his CD for her and I told her she should tell all her friends about him. She said she already did!

    BTW Theresa is one of the funniest people I know! She thought Ron had a crush on Danny because of the pictures that are in his underwear drawers (the ones I put there!). She was very happy to hear that I am the one crushin’ on Danny!

    Good morning! I just caught the tail end of Danny’s interview on the station this morning, hope someone was able to record it! Mention of a tour in April??? OMG, wish we knew more! I am so anxious at just the thought of maybe seeing him sing live someday!

    The MBD video is superb! There are no words that can describe how gorgeous he looks in it, it’s almost surreal!

    Cheryl, hilarious!! I bought a copy of CD for my Brazilian exchange student to take back to Brazil- he’s visiting in March.

    I don’t think it could be any better! It makes me like the song even more!

    I know I’ve always said–when you ladies were waxing eloquent on Danny’s sexiness–that I don’t think of Danny that way, I have a son exactly his age, etc…

    But I’ve got to admit, I had several “cougar” moments watching that video! In the scene where he’s walking down the street and he just looks down and turns his head slightly—hello. I think my heart went pitty-pat right then.

    Seriously, I’m so happy that this is such a classy video and that Danny looks so ridiculously good in it. If the haters find fault with it, it truly is because they are complete and total morons without a modicum of taste.

    The entire Old ProductRazzrevious Seasons Thread at TWOP, where there are threads for the Season 8 contestants and past contestants has been shut down.

    It got shut down because some Kris fans got angry and started Trolling the forums over there, posting and bumping up a lot of the past contestants threads.

    I think they did this because they are angry at Adam fans, I think because some Adam fans said that Adam’s was the most popular thread in that section on TWOP (It is)And maybe because they feel Adam fans have been trolling the Kris thread.

    But I think that was immature of the Kris fans to do.

    I don’t think that the mod over there has figured out what has happened, but they said they are going to keep the forum over there shut down for at least 24 hours until they find out what happened.

    I am back from seeing and being with a wonderful young man our “Danny” The show at The Kat.com was amazing. They did an hour long interview with him starting at 8Am then all us lucky people got to go in for the special concert he and the band did.

    Everyone was so excited and I think Danny and the band was pleased with the turn out and the group of people, I know the station was blow away at the response.

    ihearties we are supporting one fine and yes humble youngman, there is much to be proud of and love in him.

    He talked about his album out in March and Sophia’s Heart, I had taken my “Country Weekly” he saw it and had me show it to the crowd. He said I got a 4 page lay out…..he is really pumped about that. They are off to Des Moines now.

    They were in Omaha last night, my husband got to have a really nice talk with the guitar player( his name I forgt right now) sorry,while Danny was signing autographs. He said they were down in the Old Market last night which reminded them of Milwaukee area and how friendly everyone is. But, COLD! Sun was out today.

    I want to encourage all of you that the station remembered me calling in a month ago about “ITs Only and then later about MBD’s it will happen, do not give up. He sang 4 songs for us and sounded incrediable, and looks great.

    I do not know if it was because my husband was talking to the band or what but we got pictures of us and Danny and then of me and the whole band at the very last. The guitar player said during the concert he was playing on Danny’s guitar.

    I did take my sign, my husband held it up after the concert and Danny looked at it and I said KC and he said I remember and he had the biggest smile. But, this time I got a signed photo of him to Sharon of him sitting in that chair photo. WOW

    When we were having our picture taken with Danny my husband said thank you for all your hard work and Danny said it is my honor. Talked very passionately about Sophia’s Heart before he sang “Its Only”

    He told everyone his video is on the Americn Idol site and I said I know he grinned.I told him everyone on iheartdannygokey is going crazy for the article and the video, he grinned and said thanks. In talking with everyone before we saw Danny let them know about this site iheart and all that everyone does for Danny and all that they can see of Danny. They thanked me several times and told me it is one of the first things they would look up. Evan at work this afternoon SO HI!

    I better close just wanted to share the high points with you. I still cannot believe I was able to see and stand next to with my arm around Danny Gokey and his arm around me. What can you say….lol Sharon

    I agree it is unfortunate what happened at TWOP. The Kris fans might not like it when people say negative stuff about Kris. But Kris gets it nowhere nearly as bad as Danny gets it.

    And I have seen several Kris fans especially on TWOP constantly bash and say really cruel stuff about Danny. Some of them have trolled the Danny thread over there.

    But Danny fans don’t get together and organize trolling on that site because of it. And the Kris thread is not the only thread that gets locked sometimes, both the Adam and Danny threads have gotten locked.

    I knew something was up when I saw that Danny’s thread had been pushed back like 4 pages on TWOP. And a bunch of old threads about contestants that aren’t that popular were on the front page.

    Thanks for all your good thoughts and words since seeing Danny. I just came off the Kat interviews I want to bring to your attention something Danny said. It is on the 4th segment where he is talking to Steve about what is coming up in April.

    A caller asked him are you coming back to the Omaha area and he said he will be or wants to plan on doing that.     Bosman, I agree with you. The video is not expensive, but sometimes simple is better (Look at where the FYE expensive video went- I think his cheap second one is better.). It does capture the essence of Danny and I think that is the most important role of a video since this one is “introducing” Danny to a lot of new fans.

    Ah FOGS, that is too bad about TWOP! I was really enjoying going through all the old posts having such a great time reading all the ridiculous false things the haters were saying, watching Danny accomplish one thing after another and seeing you slowly, logically disputing their drivel. And I am not even up to where he is signed yet! Hope they put it back up.

    L.A. signaled a changing of the guard inside Nashville, but if favoring the trio’s moody cool over Rascal Flatts’ heated vocal pyrotechnics seemed a little premature at the time, it looks positively prescient with the title hit from their album (cont’d). Also a reference to the fact that “In a town where song is king”.

    Think I may know that ? when they will be in Des Moines, think they are running late, we did not get out of the station until 10. Do not know what time they left say guessing 10:30. It is a 2 and a half hour drive just to Des Moines that would not include the time to get to the station from the outskirts. Think the Des Moine stop will probably come in maybe a hour later???? It is just about 1:30 now so they should be close, the weather in Iowa is clear as far as I have heard. So hang in there as I commented to Danny Des Moines is next and he nodded his head and smiled.

Remember when Cheryl and Ron were heading out of town for the weekend to celebrate their wedding anniversary, and Cheryl was moping because she wanted to go to the Milgokey AI concert? And then Ron got off the highway at the Milgokey exit and showed Cheryl a folder containing tickets to the AI concert? It was a total surprise! Very romantic and hard to top! But your hubby did good by bringing cheese to your Idol, and generally sharing in the festivities (including a Gokey hug). And Sharon’s husband came with her in Omaha, and it sounds like he talked with Def? The husbands who are willing to share in their wives’ Danny excitement are A+ in my books!     Shirl, LOL! When I first heard that country rap song, I immediately checked my radio dial because I thought I had accidentally changed stations! But when the refrain came on, I knew it was (or was supposed to be) a country song. Too funny! At least Danny isn’t doing country rap! But maybe that song will provide ammunition when detractors say Danny isn’t country enough???

Very smart strategic move from 19E/RCA Nashville to release the music video on the American Idol site and for all the other media sites to pick it up. They are releasing it right before My Best Days enters the top 40 on country. Can’t wait for GAC to have it on their countdown so we can vote vote vote and watch the music video played on GAC TV. Jannika and Ellen- I’ve also got Adam’s CD as well and I didn’t like ‘Strut’ too much, but listening to it a few more times I like it. But ‘WWFM’ is my personal favorite.

    I’m so looking forward to getting Danny’s cd in March!!! @iaamfmspid is gifting it to me from amazon.     Sharon, the smile will last for quite awhile—mine did! It sounds pretty definite that Danny’s tour will be in Omaha, you lucky one. I’m not to worried–being only one hour from Danny’s hometown, two and half hours from Chicago, and darn it I’ll drive to Indy if I have to!!! Or maybe I’ll fly to New York and catch the tour with Toni! I’m planning on treating myself to at least one set of concert tickets! (Heck I just wrote a college tuition check for my daughter…..)

I think he tends to bring out the best in people too.

    Exciting to hear about hints of a tour and other news breaking for Danny. I don’t think Danny’s video is extravagant, but it’s not “cheap.” That director can’t be cheap for one, if you look at the website owlki posted he’s done videos for a lot of big names in country music over a pretty good period of time.

    Bosman, for me it was #13. Something about that just popped right out at me. I think everyone can find a saying there that resonates.

    Danny is still winning the USA Today poll for “best single.” I really do think it’s the best single–and has the best video. I think the haters are really grasping now–calling it cheap looking because they can’t find anything else bad to say about it. It’s actually not much different than Kris’s video–and other than the oversize numerical display behind Kris, I don’t think his video cost that much to make either. Sometimes less is more. I love the urban feel of the video. Country is an attitude, not a place.

    Idol is on now, so I am going to watch, then come back.

I was saying that I didn`t see the video until this morning-so it was a surprise and it was just as I expected-understated-great how they put all the little notes around-so relevant to the song-and the messageDanny is trying to get across- Nice to see the video NOT swallowing up the song, as, IMO, so many do nowadays- But, I`ll tell you what has really touched me and that is how complimentary the DJs are towards Danny- We know he has a large, very loyal, fanbase-but to get comments like he recieved this morning-from people who have seen every `country great` come through the studio doors-to me, that is the biggest sign of Danny making it really HUGE-in the country genre-I am SO proud of him-how humble he is- how hard he works-He deserves the accolades that are surely coming his way-

    Hi Helio-how are you? I miss all of you, but health and family problems have kept me away- We don`t get the audiyions until tomorrow and thursday-so I will know who to look out for- have to say, I haven`t been impressed this year- I am looking forward to Hollywood-It`s a big let down after last year, that`s for sure!     What’s so funny to me about someone complaining about the city scenes in Danny’s video not being country enought is that the video was shot in Nashville, the capital of country music.

    Also, just to vent, the fact that mj cut out part of my post today really irritated me. She makes it sound like I said something awful to the poster I was referring to. I did not. Basically all I said was that Danny had never said that he did not want to go country but that I could understand why he/she might think that he had since scores of posters in the past had said that he did and pretended to know Danny’s mind regarding his attitude toward country music.

    I’m sure that she didn’t like me saying that people (although totally nonspecific people in the past) pretended to know Danny’s mind, but to me, if you say he didn’t like country and didn’t want to but was forced to go country, and you have no data to back that up, you are pretending to know his mind.

    I probably touched a nerve with her since she was one last week who stated something about Danny as FACT, but couldn’t back it up.

    She definately has different rules for Danny posters and always has. I just apologized because I was at work and didn’t have time to deal with it.

    Anyway, I’m excited about the tour information. Wonder when we will know something?

    FYI, A fan who was in Houston saw my question here about the medalion Danny was wearing sent me a DM to say she asked him about it and he said it was from H&M. I just thought we’d never see him without his Sophia medalion since he’s been wearing it ever since he was on AI last year.

    At the risk of repeating myself!!I just cannot get IWNSG out of my head- it`s stuck on `repeat`!     Shirl, my daughter commented on Danny when he made his debut in NY on Regis and Kelly; she said “he’s so hot.” He was one of her favorites, she liked him ’cause he could sing too.

    There isn’t anyone this season who has auditioned so far who I think is amazing or who gives me chills when I first heard their audition. Like people like Paris Bennett, Sundance Head, Anoop and others have done in the past. Maybe I won’t see a person like that until Hollywood week this year.

    So far the show doesn’t seem as exciting as it’s been in past seasons.

    Yes, Josie, overall, the thread really hasn’t been all that negative, and certainly not viscious like they’ve been in the past. I am really grateful for that.

    That daytripper poster gets on my nerves. I think it’s partially because I remember him/her from 2006-2007 popping in to say vile and hateful things about Taylor…he’s fat, ugly, untalented, etc. Of course, that situation was different because mj’s was almost a Taylor fansite back in the day, and Taylor was mj’s favorite that season, so daytripper’s comments got lost in a sea of positive comments, but it’s funny how you never forget those especially mean spirited posters, even years later.

    I really enjoyed your post about Danny’s video telling a story of him coming from a lonely, isolated place to triumph.

    I find someone(sometimes mulitple people) to fall in love with/root for almost every season. And normally I find those people in the early auditon rounds. But that hasn’t happened this year. No one has really captured my attention or “wowed” me this year.

    And I think that a lot of idol watchers are feeling this way. I think that a lot of us just aren’t as excited about this season as we have been about past seasons. Maybe that will change as the season progresses but right now this season hasn’t started off as well as past seasons have.

    Amy- My sympathies. MJ is a child. She has these “rules” that only apply to who she wants. She lets everyone else flail away however they want. There was absolutely nothing wrong with what you said. Sometimes she says nothing about what some posters say when they address other posters, and sometimes not. She only lets about 3/4 of my posts go through.
    But I do agree with Josie; the thread is not bad; and a lot of non-fans seem to like the video and the song. I just laugh now at the dedicated haters; they really do seem silly.

    I’m not surprised at Brian’s poll. It’s because Kris and Adam fans put out the word about it and now they are cheating. Its very easy to do- I’ve done it before; but don’t anymore; its not worth my time. That is why I’m surprised he even does these polls- doesn’t he know people can cheat? I would ask him that, but it would be sour grapes. I am a little afraid that when Danny’s video comes up and we vote that some haters will try their best to vote for a selected video (kind of like they did for Tay Sachs during the Nick Barnett Twitter charity poll). Or don’t you guys think that will be a problem?

    Yeah, Steph, sometimes mj’s edits are kinda random. It seems she doesn’t give Danny’s fans an inch in defending and allows a lot more wiggle room for Adam and Kris fans.

    I remember once last summer she edited a post of mine where all I said was something to the effect of “when someone dislikes a contestant and Simon praises that contestant, people say Simon is full of bs or he knows nothing about music, or he’s just going along with some preplanned agenda that AI wants to play out in the finals. But if Simon says something positive about their contestant of their choice, then all of a sudden he’s the honest judge, the one who tells it like it is, etc.”

    She edited that post saying I was being sarcastic. I was like wtf? After that it would burn me up to see the dripping sarcasm in other posters’ comments, and she would never edit them.

    But again the Danny thread over there was fairly positive especially when you consider the mj, once again, invited people to snark on Danny with her intro.

    I thought what they did with the charity poll was pretty low. That was a new low for them and they have sunk to a lot of lows this season. Even Nick Barnett was disgusted by their actions.

    I actually recognized at least two Danny haters from Mjs and IDF who commented on the charity poll.

    I recognized a couple of them, too, FOGS. That really was terrible. They would leave comments trying to convince others that Danny was some kind of scam artist and of course dedicate themselves to voting over and over again for the second highest charity.

    I knew how to vote over and over, too, which is what they were doing. But even though I knew that they were doing that, I couldn’t bring myself to do it for SHF. I did consider it, though. I just didn’t feel right about it, although I don’t really fault anyone else for doing it once they found out the haters were cheating. It was just such a bad situation.

    I felt so bad about Danny’s name being dragged through the mud in front of his “new friend,” Nick Barnett. I felt humiliated for him, because I didn’t think that Barnett or the other random people who were reading the comments section could possibly understand the insanity that sometimes plays out in Idol fandom.

    The way the haters behaved regarding the charity poll was atrocious. A lot of them popped up and bashed Danny and Nick Barnett because Sophia’s Heart was winning in the poll.

    Even though Danny had asked his fans to follow Nick,and I believe that Danny fans were the main reason why Nick got to 10,000 followers by his deadline.

    The haters said really cruel stuff about Danny, Nick and Danny fans. And then a lot of them voted for other charities, to try and stop SHF for winning in the poll.

    I think that one of them might have even put a link to a porn site on top of the poll. Their behavior was really disgusting. And on Twitter Nick Barnett went on record saying he didn’t like the way the haters reacted towards Danny.

    Now Nick Barnett has over 344,000 followers on Twitter, I think he had a huge increase due to the Packers making the play-offs this season. But I remember when he had less than 10,000 followers and asked Danny to help him gain more followers.

    I think there will always be a few diehard haters who will hold a grudge against Danny doing better than Adam, Kris or Allison, and who will never let go of their bitterness, and post as many places as they can just to put Danny down and irritate his fans.

    However, I think as time goes on, they will decrease in number and get interested and involved in some other nasty way to make someone else miserable. I certainly hope their hatred would not go so far as them wanting to get accounts on CMT or GAC or such sites, just to spew their venom in the hopes of spoiling things for Danny.     I remember some of them trying to tell Nick Barnett that SHF wasn’t an IRS non profit charity, trying to get Danny in trouble with Nick. But some of us Danny fans did Tweet Nick the truth and Danny confirmed that to him.

    I didn’t like what the haters did to Danny with the charity poll, but I think Nick realized that their behavior was awful and that Danny was a good guy. I do remember him being upset on Twitter about how the haters treated Danny.

    And some of the people who were following Nick but were not Danny fans, were disgusted by the actions of the haters. And said so. The haters did anger some of the regular, non Danny fans.

    You could tell they were night owls; SHF would be winning and then in the am it would be behind again; so you knew all the teen haters in their moms basement were up late with their hostess cupcakes and redbull drinks all night cheating Wink

    I felt bad cheating, but couldn’t let SHF lose. And even though it was ahead when we finally convinced Nick to shut down the poll (he didn’t know how to do it, lol) he was caught between a rock and a hard place.
    I, too was so embarrassed for Danny; for all the vile comments/lies that his friend must have seen.

    But the haters never really had any impact where it counted. Danny still got signed to a major record label. He scored Mark Bright as his producer. The haters never stopped him from being the 2nd most popular Idol on the tour – getting great reviews from the hard to please NY critics.

    First 3rd place finisher to record with 19E. First male idol to be signed with a major Country label.

    Danny will always have his critics – that’s expected for anyone in the public eye. But the hate against Danny has subsided. Unfortunately, they will find someone new to pounce on from Season 9.

    Pam, like I said, I don’t blame you. I remember sitting on the couch debating with myself whether to vote and revote for SHF. I finally just decided not to. But I totally understood those that did do it. And then, the haters were posting in the comment section that Danny’s fans were cheating on the poll…Argh.

    That was one of the low points of the summer. Something that should have been good was turned into something so ugly.

    The other low point was the “Danny is a d_____” night. I’m embarrassed to admit this, but I actually cried for Danny that night. At the time, I thought how is he supposed to go out on tour and get up in front of all these people and perform. I didn’t know how any person could take all of the hate he was getting, let alone someone who was already in a vulnerable state since his wife died. I couldn’t understand how people could get pleasure from being so cruel, still can’t.

    Helio, that’s what I figured might happen for Chris Golighly. He does seem like a nice guy with a really calm demeanor. I hope he won’t get hated on like Danny was. No one deserves that.

    Nothing to be embarrassed about. I cried for him too, several times in fact. The hate against him probably hurt me more than it did him but I just felt so much pity for him. I was also really afraid for him before the tour started, that he might be booed off the stage, or worse, that someone might even try to hurt him. Our worries were in vain. Danny got the second most cheers for his performances on tour, and got the most gifts and fan attention. He won many new fans–some of them former haters.

    Helio, I had those same fears, I think because being online we were so inundated with that attitude toward Danny. Obviously, the real world is quite different than the online world. And I still credit Idolatry for the hate that Danny was subjected to this past year online.

    Aww, I’m getting tears in my eyes too, remembering those summer days . Helio, I worried about his safety also.

    He is an incredibly strong person! How could you deal with all of that.

    Amy, Erika and all you fellow ihearties, I do find comfort in that I know Danny could always come here and find love and encouragement. I am proud to think we may have helped him weather the storm at that time.

    Yep, they are REALLY bashing Chris at VFTW–and someone (Smartie, I think) already accused me of “tarding” over him already just because I mentioned him here. I’m still being followed all over the internet by them. For the record, I’m not “tarding” over ANYONE this season, I just don’t think it’s going to happen this year. But I do have a heart and don’t like to see ANYONE get hated on. I don’t know what’s wrong with people.

    Amy, I agree with you; this may seem far fetched; but I think sometimes weak people are heavily influenced to hate- just like Nazi Germany. Its easy to see how a couple of sites like Idolatry, VFTW, etc could make people pile on the hate train for fun, when one man convinced many to murder for him.

    Yeah, the undies. Supposedly it was said on Ellen. I’m hoping it was a joke, since he could certainly auction off something else!

    Pam, I remember when Danny said in his exit interview that he was afraid to be himself on the show because of the hate. I also remember when he said it really did hurt him. He’s strong, but he’s also intense and a worrier. But it probably made him stronger. I think he actually gained a lot of respect from some haters when he made the heart hands and blew a kiss at Kristen Baldwin. I remember some people who didn’t like him said they respected him for that.

    GAC tv has finally listed Danny as one of their artists.Maybe Danny’s video will premier this week. I wonder who Danny is touring with in April? Can’t wait for the announcement!

    But in the end, it was Danny who had the last laugh when it came to the haters. He didn’t wither away. He is living his dream now. And he has proven that he is a survivor. It also prepared him for what was ahead. Show business can be really tough and you have to have a tough skin to survive. And Danny always had a lot more people (fans and professionals in the industry) that liked him than those who didn’t.

    I bought a TV for this? Ughh!! Season 9 is boring. No one really stands out. There are certainly some singers who show some promise, but whether they can develop in the hectic world of AI, I don’t know.

    I gotta say, the judges disgusted me, especially the guest judges.

    Victoria Beckham was the only guest judge who was even remotely professional. Mary J. Blige looked and sounded bored. Don’t even know who that Kristen (?) person was — an actress? Avril L. was immature, and Katy Perry was so full of herself (i.e. hot air) that I’m surprised she’s not in orbit around the earth.

    And Kara should be ashamed of herself!

    Really, why would we be surprised at what the haters do when they take their cue from the judges? I know that this a television program, and it’s supposed to entertain and amuse. But c’mon. The contestants are human beings! With feelings! Not objects for our entertainment!

    Yes, Kristen Chenoweth is an actress, Ellen, and she can sing her face off too. She’s really, really good. I’ve only watched season 8 before but agree that season 9 is extremely boring. I can’t remember the name of a single contestant and no one got even close to awe me the way Danny did on his audition. I gotta admit that the auditions amuse me, though… I LMAO of how delusional some contestants are. The people around them should be ashamed to let them try for a singing competition on national TV knowing how bad they are.
