Good news and bad news…
The good news is that ‘My Best Days Are Ahead Of Me’ is already listed on Amazon US with a December 21, 2009 release. Better yet, on Amazon UK it has a December 20, 2009 release.
The bad news is that, very much like iTunes, songs in a mp3 format can only be purchased on Amazon.com by customers with an US billing address as rules for digital copies are different from the ones for actual CDs (that can be exported to other countries). The same applies to Amazon UK, available only for UK residents. I discovered that when I tried to pre-order the single.
Where am I supposed to buy ‘My Best Days Are Ahead Of Me’, then? Oh, TPTB, you make life very hard for an international fan… sigh… I shall not desist, though. There must be a place in Australia that will sell it! Come on, iTunes Australia, step it up! I’m not holding my breath, though, as the only Kris Allen single they have available is the God-awful ‘No Boundaries’. I KID YOU NOT. Adam Lambert, on the other hand, has a pre-idol album, the ‘For Your Entertainment’ album, the ‘No Boundaries’ single, the ‘Time for Miracles’ single and the complete 2012 movie soundtrack. Oh, they also have that song from the ‘Ten Commandments’ movie. I really wonder… nevermind…

Erika does that means that the fans that live in the UK, Carole, Claudia, you and Hannele will be able to purchase Danny’s itunes Cd? I have some UK friends who are crazy about Danny so I would like to inform them more accurately. Thanks!!
That really sucks Erika!!! How annoying is that! At least Carole and I should be able to buy it then
although that doesn’t help you………..

Yes, Latrece, fans in UK will be able to purchase the mp3 for My Best Days. That does not apply to Portugal (Claudia), Australia (me) or Finland (Hannele). We’ll be able to purchase the CD (hard copy) from Amazon.com when it becomes available in March, though. That I know because I’ve bought other CDs from Amazon.com before.
Well since I pre-ordered this way back in the spring, I better get my alert from Amazon!
Owlki – I am surprised that people outside of the US cannot purchase it on Amazon! Uuugghhh!
