Rachel – I agree with you, I watched a couple of videos now and she was good……I remember her audition…..Simon treated her terribly. The whole thing is very sad.

After weeks of being annoyed by questionable golden ticket winners, now American Idol critics are concerned about someone who lost. When Jessika Baier auditioned in Puerto Rico, Simon Cowell gave the veteran singing contest competitor one of his harshest verdicts yet, refusing to let her sing a second song or even hear constructive criticism from the other judges (”just go ‘yes’ or ‘no’!”).

That was absolutely awful, I mean, not only that, I just can’t believe that you won all these shows. This is ridiculous…I will never ask you to sing anything. The singing, the jumping up and down, none of its working…Jessika, I can swim, but I’m not going to win ten Olympic medals at the Olympic games!

While her take on Celine Dion’s “I Surrender” was flawed, Simon’s offense at her very presence was pretty striking in contrast to his treatment of “Bikini Girl” Katrina Darrell. Why was he so pissed off? Paula Abdul suggested Baier “take the constructive criticism” (Simon: “she won’t“), so did the editors only make it look like Simon refused to let them speak? If Baier plays up the sympathy, missing out on Idol may have been the best thing to happen to her career.

Rachel – I looked her up (Jessika Baier) and I don’t remember her either…..was she actually on IDOL??? At the auditions in Puerto Rico? I went on her myspace account and nothing rings any bells! Sad story none-the- least!

Hey –

The $10.00 a month is added to my cell phone bill every month…it automatically goes on….you can cancel at any time….basically, it comes down to $2.00 a ringtone which really isn’t that bad. When you initially sign-up you get 10 free credits, so a total of 20 credits, each ringtone is two credits. After you download your 10 ringtones you can cancel if you want. I know have over I think 7o ringtones and they stay in your “locker” on the website….so you re-download then to your phone at any time. I have been with the website for awhile…..never had any problems! They always seem to have the latest stuff up on the site….for example…before Kris Allens CD came out..they had most of the ringtones of his album before it was sale to the general public. Anyway…you pick your ringtone and its sent to your phone and then all you have to do is download it. Anyway, even if you don’t sign-up, it is fun just to go on the site and listen to new clips of songs and they have other cool stuff on the site as well. Let me know what you all think!

Jason, I had a look at the site and it seems legit. I’m just worried about the subscribing thing… You pay monthly, right? I see that they say that it’s 10 bucks a month. Can a person buy just one ringtone and don’t be surprised with a monthly bill afterwards? I can’t try to download it because I’m not in the US and my phone is not internet-enabled anyway.

Hi Pam, the ringtone site says that your phone must be internet-enabled for you to use the service so you wouldn’t need a cable as the download would go straight to your phone.

Instructions on how to download on iTunes would be good. I’d appreciate it if you could write instructions as I obviously can’t because I’m outside US and can’t friggin’ download things on the iTunes US store! Even the free ones! Do you feel my frustration?! LOL!
