    I’m with you Trish’ – I love both and can’t say which I one I like best! That is the sign of a good album to come because when you usually buy an album , some of the songs are just ‘throw away’ songs. I have a feeling that every single song on Danny’s album will be a ‘winner’!! :)

    I feel you Trish regarding the song chose; I can’t really determine which somg I like best; however, it’s only does something to me on the inside, it connects with me on a deeper level. I just absolutely adore Danny, I know he is suppose to do another radio tour today ( I guess?), but I don’t know where. Hopefully, something will come up and we will be able to hear our sweet Danny again!! What lovely Guns above!!

    i love both songs but i think best days is more likely to get more airplays~
    there are criticisms saying that it’s only is preaching or something (though i totally disagree)

    I agree with you Joanna – ‘Best Days’ is what we call a ‘crowd pleaser’ but I so love the message that ‘It’s Only’ conveys!
    I am a ‘closet’ ‘Lady Antebellum’ fan (who wrote IO)so maybe that’s what is ‘drawing’ me to that song more….
    But I love the upbeat message in BD as it is Danny’s future so he is following his heart and doing what he does best :)

    Good Morning! I like both songs, but I love It’s Only. I get so emotional when I hear it and for me, when a song can move people emotionally, it is a good song. Best Days is a catchy tune, and it seems more traditionally country, so I can see why the label wants to release it as the first single. Can.t help thinking they got a lot of feedback regarding It’s Only being too CCM which would limit it’s radio play. I totally disagree that it is CCM and wish they would release it at the same time as they release My Best Days Are Ahead Of Me.

    Hi Julie, Rachel, Cheryl, Joanna, Latrece and Trish! I bet Danny is okay with all of this, because I don’t think anyone is eliminating from being a single. I think it just got moved to next in line position.

    This radio business in interesting stuff. I wish I understood how it all truly works. It does seem to me that the stations have their say, because the radio announcer yesterday previewed a Brooks & Dunn song for Danny at the end of his stint and asked him what he thought. When Danny asked was it a single, I think he said he wasn’t sure yet. BTW, for those of you who didn’t catch the morning show live feed, it was a religious song.

    I have a new level of respect for Danny, after having watched him in action yesterday. He appeared to be more mature and together then I expected. The way he purposely sought out more conversation with the announcers and shared some contact information on paper, made me realize Danny is a business man.

    Good for him!

    Good morning everyone! I just can’t get over those closeup videos taken in Seattle yesterday. Danny’s face is so beautiful, even when he has a cold. Cheryl, I agree with you about It’s Only, because I’m such a sucker for Danny’s ballads, but I can understand why Best Days would make a better first single. It also opens up more video possibilities than IO would.
    It does worry me a little that people at TWOP were saying that the only reason a new release would get pulled and replaced is because it didn’t turn out to be as popular as hoped. I hope this was just haters speculating, because I thought IO was doing pretty well (even though I could understand it being seen as too “religious” by some people).
    But so far the comments I’ve seen about BD have been overwhelmingly positive, more so than IO. So I think it was the right decision. I do hope they actually release both songs. It’s not unheard of for an artist’s singles to be released to different markets–DC’s CBTM was released to AC stations and Bar-ba-Sol was released to rock stations simultaneously (even though BBS got no promotion). Maybe RCA can release BD to country and AC and IO to CCM and country at the same time.

    Hellio both Kris and Adam had to make some adjustment in their Single as well, When ADAM’s TFM was released and it was not the block buster song they thought it was going to be, then they moved on and said FYE is the true Single and TFM was for the movie 2012. Kris’s Single nearly flopped so now they amped it up with a music video and guest appearances on the morning show. Each of the idols had to make adjustments, Danny is not alone in this battle, but the beauty of Danny’s label is, they seem to be proactive and not reactive; they are taking actions before anything gets bad or worse, that is a good thing; it will work itself out. I would not give too much credence or energy to what the haters say!!

    steph I saw your post yesterday about possibly emailing Danny’s management about NixaCountry. Does anyone know if his management handles things like that? I think that it might be his label that would mostly handle the distribution of his music.

    I saw that pjgvet suggested Tweeting his bandmates and telling them what NixaCountry said. I think that could work, because they do get considerably less Twitter traffic than Danny does.

    Also I saw mjs put up a thread about Danny’s song change. I see some people in that thread hating on Danny. Saying stuff like he’s no Bucky Covington, and that he only wanted a record contract. Haters are always going to hate on Danny.

    It’s ridiculous that people are labeling “It’s Only” a failure. The song was out for only about a week or so, and I don’t think that all of the radio stations had the song in their systems.

    Plus, the song hadn’t even gone for adds yet, nor was it even up for sale yet. People could at least hold off predicting that Danny’s music is going to be a failure, until his sales total comes in.

    I hope that his label does release both songs for sale in December, I think that both have the potential to do decently.

    Ewww, I’m glad I didn’t pick up the rude follower. Seems to be a current hit among haters to now complain about “this site”. Too bad most of them are dumb enough that its pretty easy to tell they are haters.

    I wonder if RCA was “testing” the market from the start; they rushed out Its Only to stations right away. Also, they introduced Best Days from the first day of the radio tour! ITs only had only been out a few days. So maybe they were kind of testing the waters for both of them and decided to go with a more upbeat one.

    I know initially when we talked about it, I had said I wanted an upbeat, fun, sexy song (well, he does talk about kissing lovers!) for his first single. I do really love Its Only; it showcases his vocals and is just plain beautiful- but I think Best Days is a better commercial choice. It definitely has more of a hook and easier to sing along sith than Its Only, which is a difficult song to sing, even for professionals!

    Good Morning, Latrece, today is the best day of your life you gave birth to your daughter and you were able to wish her a Happy Birthday, the call must have made her day so much better.
    Steph-I saw your post 2 nights ago about wondering if the MD received Its Only yet at my local radio station and have tried to call but no success in them picking up the phone I will keep trying.
    My opinion of both songs is the same as yours and they both have a very meaningful story and I truly get the feeling that Danny might have had some type of collaboration with BD it feels like there is so much of his story in the words but it can also be everybody else’s story. Correct me if I am wrong but is everyone hearing “sad memories” or “sad memory” in that one line I am hearing sad memory. I am off to work. Also I got to listen to the interview yesterday morning since a lot of my day at work is spent with a headset and Danny sounded so at ease and I thought best interview so far. Bye Toni

    While the hate hasn’t been as intense on mjs and TWOP at least during a couple of periods of time, I have noticed that the Danny haters have to come out every so often to criticize/bash Danny.

    They are coming out of the woodworks now that “My Best Days” is his first single. And what I have noticed that the ones that are bashing him now are not the same people who said that they would buy “My Best Days”.

    IMO, it’s obvious that a lot of the haters don’t like almost anything that Danny says or does, so they are just inclined to criticize him, no matter what is going on.

    And a lot of them just can’t see past their hatred for Danny, to realize that not only does he have fans that like him, but that there are people out there in the general public that could like his music as well.

    It will never matter if everyone likes Danny or not, but it does matter if he has enough people buying his music so that he can create a decent career and comfortable life for himself. And I believe that Danny can have that.

    But I don’t think that a lot of his haters believe that. They think that just because they don’t like Danny and his music, that hardly anyone else will as well, and I think that they are wrong about that.

    I can’t wait for “My Best Days” and hopefully “It’s Only” as well to go on sale, because I think that Danny might be able to rack up some decent sales for these songs. And that would show the haters that he does have a decent amount of people that like him and his music.

    Another fresh material, this time titled “My Best Days Are Ahead of Me”, from Danny Gokey has been unleashed. Recently, a portion of the track has been showcased live during his performance in Los Angeles for TV station KTLA.

    “I love this song for what it stands for,” said the “American Idol” alum as quoted by USA Today. “I don’t live in the past. I live in the ‘now’ … in the future … and in the dreams that I have. I know that my best days really are ahead of me.”

    “My Best Days Are Ahead of Me” will be made available for digital download on December 22. The track is picked up as the first single for Danny’s forthcoming RCA debut album which is aimed for March 2010 release, replacing single “It’s Only” which was previously unveiled prior to “My Best Days”.

    The haters always come out of the woodwork when there is a lot of news about Danny.

    Some of them make it their mission to attempt to undermine him, especially when something is perceived as potentially successful.

    My theory is that there was no criticism of Best Days when it was not the lead song or as much of a threat; but now that it is they know what a good commercial song it is and can’t bash it for being CCM, so they have to go in other bashing directions. Bashing it for generic lyrics?? The lyrics are catchy and awesome!

    They just make me laugh. Esp. the one who adores Buckey. Don;’t know how he is doing now since I don’t like his brand of country, but please, no comparison- Danny is so much better in tone and technically. That person is a typical hater- keeps saying how they’ve “tried to keep an open mind about Danny”- Honey, why even bother saying that, that is soo obviously not true! His true dedicated haters are very easy to spot- people who take the time to repeatedly post neg. comments instead of just that they didn’t care for the song.

    remember these haters are the same people who said danny will be backed to oblivion after ai, that no major label company will sign him at all, that SHF is a bogus charity, that danny bashed country music before, everyone else will boo him at ai tour, adam and kris hated danny and many other unsubstantiated claims by the haters. all these proven wrong. the haters are proven wrong.

    danny is so busy doing radio tour,got the attention at CMA 2009, debuts two great singles.

    the haters are just desperate to see danny fail so that their ego will be somehow saved. but then again, i dont see it happening.

    I think that you bring up a lot of good points about the haters. I do think that “My Best Days” has the chance to be commerically successful. The lyrics are catchy and fun. And I never take the haters who say that they try and keep an open mind or have tried to like Danny seriously. I agree with you that’s it’s obvious that they really haven’t tried to do that.

    And LOL at people saying Danny has a “weak” tone. I think that Danny has a nice, raspy tone.

    ITA trishcaravana about the haters. They said all sorts of ridiculous things about Danny, saying that not only would Sony Nashville not want him, but that Word a Christian label wouldn’t want him either. They said that people would walk out on Danny on tour, and other ridiculous stuff about him.

    I really do hope that Danny sells decently when his single comes out, one reason so that they will see that he does have a decent amount of people that care about him and enjoy his music. And that he does the potential to be successful.

    I still love better”It’s Only” because it showcases his soulful voice and more reflects his heart.
    The potential for “My Best Days Are Ahead of Me” is catchier and has a more country feel.
    Probably more commercial appeal and has a nice easy flow to it…love the studio arrangement.
    It has that hook and only after a few listens, it stays in my head.
    I think it will resonate more with country audiences without losing his original fanbase.

    And the haters will hate the video. They will also hate the album. They will also hate the live performances Danny does. It’s a given. By worrying about their pettiness, we are essentially validating that their opinions matter.

    Remember that it doesn’t end with the singles. They have to create buzz and excitement for the album. And I think “My Best Days” will have a better chance of doing that – since it is more commercial, definitely more radio friendly – not only for Country music, but more potential to cross over to mainstream pop.

    There is no PROOF what so ever that “It’s Only” flopped. It wasn’t even available to be purchased. It is to Danny’s credit that the record label had the forsight to test the market see what had the potential to sell more.

    And when responding to the haters – point to Adam’s example about TFM flopping and now claiming that FYE is the official single??? And it was too late for Kris. LLWD was such a bad choice that it really hurt his album sales. And Allison and her single have all but disappeared. I honestly think she will be the first to be dropped from her contract.

    It’s too bad none of their record labels had the forsight to be proactive and look out for their artist the way RCA Nashville did with Danny.

    Anyone have any more info on Danny’s band? Danny mentioned that his band is his family yesterday. Alluded to the fact that he has known them all for years. Mentioned, Ivan yesterday on the radio show, but I didn’t catch what he said. Something about him being his MD? I have no idea what that means.

    I was so captivated by watching him, while trying to bounce between screens to give some play by play here for those that could not see the show, that I missed it. Just wondering, because Defram and Brian are doing an amazing job for Danny.

    Def is an amazing guitarist. So glad he has a shot at this with Danny. I’ve really enjoyed seeing his tweets about his new guitars, and meeting his guitar idol (Carrie’s guitarist). So happy for him too!

    Julie may be onto something. Perhaps, Ivan is his musical director. Right after he talked about him, he mentioned something about family being in charge of SHF. I missed the detail, bouncing on and off screens.

    You can tell Danny loves the people he has surrounded himself with. This is a wonderful thing, because it is these people that will help to keep him sane, in this insane business.

    This made me laugh so hard. Last night I was video recording Danny’s songs from yesterday’s interview. I was playing them back for the first time this morning in a taxi cab on my way to work.     Once again popping in on my lunch at work and saw all these posts and just knew something was happening. So now we have a third song. I am starting to think that Danny and his label are testing the market and his fans to decide on his first single. They never cease to surprise us.

    Okay, so My Best Days Are Ahead of Me got 1 spin today in Fort Myers, FL on station WWGR-FM. It’s Only was played 3 times by KBWF-FM in San Francisco (did he interview there), KMPS-FM in Seattle (interview there as well) and old reliable in Salt Lake City who has played It’s Only every day for a couple of weeks now. I am so puzzled by what is going on – I guess we will just have to fasten our seatbelts and hold on for the ride.

    Someone just posted on Twitter that Danny will be headlining Mercy Charity Ball, for Mercy Health Foundation in Arkansas on December 5.

    Here is the Tweet they wrote about Danny:

    I don’t know how true this is, because I didn’t see Danny’s name on the website, but I think that one of Danny’s labelmates Martina McBride headlined this charity ball last year, so maybe it is true.

    If it is true, I think that it’s cool that Danny is getting more gigs.

    You know this is all starting to make sense. Did one of the articles say that Danny was going to sing 3 songs at an event next week (eithe Detroit or Wisconsin)?     hi all. Guess I missed the 3rd song! Hopefully it will surface soon. I just survived my first occasion of buying a MP.3 download from Amazon.com. I’m getting ready for buying Danny’s singles by buying Lady Antebellum–I suppose I should have experimented with Itunes instead……

    Just an update on my ultrasound and it’s good news. The mammogram picked up on a little skin tag which should have been noted on my chart but wasn’t, so the whole thing was a waste of time, but I’m just thankful it was ONLY a waste of time.     Okay, I’m a little aggravated right now. How or where can we find out information as to which stations in which cities or towns Danny will be visiting on his radio tour?! I had no idea he would be in Utah unless it was mentioned on twitter.

    I am DYING to hear this new song! A big “power ballad” as Latrece put it, is just exactly that I have been wanting to hear from him as I know it will just kill me!

    Latrece, where did you find out he was going to be in Utah? Where is the list of his tour that you saw that information?

    So now we have a taste of what the CD will be like: we have an inspirational song with a wonderful message, we have an upbeat happy song with a catchy tune about being positive about life, and now we have a big beautiful ballad that I am sure will bring us all to our knees!

    Hi shirl!! yaYYYYY!!!! Good news! Shirl Jen posted the site here and I was able to access the site; I beleive Jen searched the web in utah and found the Coubtry radio staion where Danny was singing, I believe someone tweeted yesterday or today that Danny was going to be in Utah for his radio tour. There is no Official list of his radio tour dates and times, I guess we just have to look out for tweets?? I thought this week was the end of the radio tour, unless it continues onto next week and so forth! I was able to hear 3/4 of the song and it was beautiful!!!!!

    I am not sure if we will find out about all of Danny’s radio visits, some of us just keep checking Twitter and we find out about some of his visits that way.

    Hopefully somehow, someone will post him singing “Tiny Life”. I haven’t heard about him doing any more radio visits today, but hopefully something will turn up.

    I did see on Twitter, someone say that they were going to a private acoustic show of Danny’s today.

    I see someone at MJs (a hater) is saying that Tiny Life may be a song Jeffrey Steele wrote 5 yrs ago? Didn’t know what they were insinuating; that it is a cover or that the song is just written a while ago. Always take what a hater says with a grain of salt.

    I saw that comment too. In this particular case, I don’t think that the hater was saying that the song was a cover, I think that they were just saying who they thought wrote the song.

    I googled Jeffrey Steel and Tiny Life and looked for it on youtube but couldn’t find a performance of him singing the song.

    Maybe Jeffrey did write the song, hopefully more information about the song including a performance of Danny singing it will come out.

    Also, I saw on that mediabase site, that “It’s Only” got played at a San Fransico radio station. I think that this is the first time, the song has been played on radio in San Fransico. If any Gokey fans live there they can request the song at the KBWF-FM radio station.

    I wonder if RCA is going to pull “It’s Only” off radio and focus soley on getting “My Best Days’ played or if they are going to let both songs be played for radio, at least for a little while longer.

    Good Afternoon Ladies! Full of everything Danny today! Gonna watch the movie 2012 later in our local theater! YAY! can’t wait for that, I love those kind of movies to watch. Im so excited!

    I love My Best Days!!! I know I said in the past that putting up an uptempo song for the album is risky (not to mention the not so successful singles of Kradison! I think!) but Danny pulled it off together! For me, it would be a hit from him! I wish he cowrite that one! its all about him!

I love the chorus and the bridge! its so powerful once you listen to it (as a Dannyfan) you will think of the lovestory of Danny and Sophia… I need to listen to its full intrumental uggh!     FOGS- That’s good that Chris Sligh said that about the label changing the songs. ‘Best Days’ is a really good song. It’s so catchy and upbeat and all of that. I’m not really understanding why some think that if they went ahead and released ‘It’s Only’ that it would hurt Danny. That song is a really, powerful, emotional ballad. I mean, that’s what I feel when I listen to it. Well, RCA/Sony know what they’re doing and having ‘Best days’ as the first release is a good choice.

    Maybe ‘it’s only’ will be the second release? Who knows? *shrugs*

If the album only had the three songs we’ve heard on it, it would be amazing…and yet I still don’t think we’ve heard the song Meredith Andrews heard Danny record, that gave her chills and made her cry. I’m so happy for Danny. His CD is going to be insanely good.

    I don’t think that “It’s Only” would hurt Danny a lot if it was the first single released either. I think that it’s a nice song. Even though I think that “My Best Days” might end up doing better than “It’s Only” does.

    After hearing “Tiny Life”, I think that they should release that as the second single, I think that it’s a lovely song and it’s my favorite song I have heard from Danny so far.

    I think that releasing this love song as a second single after the releasing the upbeat “My Best Days” as the first single could definitely work.

    FOGS- It could be a possibility that ‘Tiny Life’ could be the second single. Either that one or ‘iT’s Only’ would be a good choice as the second single.

    Are we to think this is the end of the radio tour? I think I read that either on here or on twitter. I can’t believe he wouldn’t come east with it. If anyone finds out if there’s an appearance tomorrow, be sure to post.

    Cindy, I don’t think Tiny Life \ is the song Meredith heard, either. It’s lovely, but it’s not all that emotional. I still hope we hear another power ballad/love song with full orchestration that will knock our socks off!

    I snuck in here on my break at work and saw the posts about Danny singing a third song, one that was EMOTIONAL AND ROMANTIC, and I wanted to shoot myself because I missed it! I obsessed and fumed about it all day, raced home (narrowly missing running a red light), came here, and lo and behold, Tiny Life was posted! Wow…I’m kind of at a loss for words, actually. It gave me chills. Danny did seem to be having trouble with his voice, but I could imagine this with full instrumentation, backup singers, and Bright’s pristine production–exactly the way it must sound on his album. It’s a beautiful song, and is very well written, and Danny really sings this one from his heart. I think this could be my favorite, and I think this would be a great choice for the second single.
    I love the 3 songs we’ve heard all show a different facet of Danny’s gift–the inspirational ballad; the upbeat, fun song; and now, this big, romantic power ballad. I’m sure this was done intentionally. I think RCA must be listening to the fans because this is the kind of song we wanted to hear next. I love everything I’ve heard so far, and I know his album is going to be amazing–I CANNOT WAIT TO BUY IT!

    You know I was just thinking about the attacks against Danny’s singing. Each time Danny releases another new song, the haters run like wild dogs, looking to see where the song originated from so they can say he has no legitimacy or originality!!! their claim is that the song was not written for Danny or that Danny did not have any input in the song choice. I guess the label is randomly pulling out songs that does not fit Danny and forcing him to sing anything!! I can just puke each time I hear a hater questioning each song Danny comes out with!

    Did you all see in the Music Row article that Trent Tomlinson is releasing a 3 song EP next week.     Now that I have been listening to My Best Days I am really liking it and am glad that it is going to be Danny’s first single. I took me a little well to get over the fact that It’s Only was not going to be his single because I really love it but I’m not so sure it would appeal to as many people. I feel the same way about Tiny Life (although I have not heard the radio version and could change my mind). My Best Days really is a good song and very catchy.     Just checked mediabase and My Best Days already has 3 spins – 2 in Fort Myers and one in Salt Lake City. I really do think that radio stations are going to be more willing to play Best Days than It’s Only. I absolutely love It’s Only BUT Best Days is more suited for country radio IMO. It’s Only has gone down in spins since last week so I suspect we will see Best Days pass it soon.

    ChrisSligh “My Best Days are Ahead of Me” is a REALLY good country song! Good songwriting, Danny’s vocals sound great. Great job, Mark Bright!

    I enjoyed Danny’s impersonations. I thought that Danny sounded like Darius Rucker and I liked hearing him sing “Crazy Love”. I would love to hear him sing that song in his regular singing voice. I remember hearing Anoop perform that song one time and I thought that he did a great job with that song. I would love to hear Danny’s take on that song as well.

    Oh wow guys! Finally getting to check back in, as the kids took control of the computer tonight. Was able to bop on quickly earlier to catch the newest single. I am speechless. This is the Danny I was waiting to hear.

    This song is going to seal the deal for Danny. He is truly on his way. Three winners so far!

    Fascinating stuff seeing him perform for the vocal effect only. I tend to think his Joe Cocker movements have more to do with clearing his sore throat, then anything else. He really looks passionate when he sings, almost as if he is in pain. Wonder if that is related to the throat too, or if that is just the way he sings, when not performing for a crowd.

    For some reason, I am liking the acoustic versions of IO and MBD just a smidgeon better than the studio version. I think it might be because I am hearing impaired and can hear his voice better in the acoustic versions.

    That song slayed me, Latrece. With those country friendly lyrics, Danny’s stellar vocals and Mark Bright’s sparkle touch, this song is a sure fire winner.

    I am seriously beginning to think that Danny is really going to do this, as in multi platinum sales.

    The fact that he is being welcomed so kindly speaks volumes.

    Taylor cannot hold a candle to the prowess of Danny’s voice, but she has a unique sound. She sounds like a young girl, and she writes touching music about young women her age. I believe this is her appeal.

    What worries me, is where she will be ten years from now, because her voice is unlikely to mature with her.

    This being said, I am thrilled to have a young artist that my daughter can emulate. There are far to many teen girls in music acting like they are much older and pushing the sex card. I like her.

    Hello All! I was reading through all of the posts to determine if anyone knew what the strategy of RCA/Nashville to release a 3rd song this morning?

    I don’t listen to anything the haters say. DJG Music is right, they will always be haters no matter what. But I am curious as to what the country music stations are saying after Danny makes these radio appearances? What’s the reception been? Good?

    I have to admit that I don’t think “My Best Days are Ahead of Me” sounded like a country song at all. I am surprised that Chris Sligh and others all calling it a good country song. Either way Danny kills it!

    I am very impressed with the quality of the song writing I have seen/heard so far.

    Steph6449 – I was looking for your post on twitter for what country station he was going to be this morning. There are 3 country stations in SLC, must be a big country market. Jen happened to stumble across the bull just in time for Tiny Life. I was surprised it wasn’t picked up by Amy or Owlki either. If you know for the next radio stop, please let us know! LOL!

    Why they are not posting these cities, times, dates on his official website is a mystery to me!

    Steph, I do have a twitter account (same name as here). I’d appreciate any help you can give me on tracking down a possible Danny event in Mad-town (our little nickname for WI’s state capital city).

    I would be REALLY surprised if Danny came to Madison. It is a pretty small market. (I think I heard it was one of the smallest venues on the AI live tour–but man, was Danny great that night!) Good night to whoever is left—I’m treating myself to some DG videos/songs…..

    PS. I occasionally alternate between watching every move and closing my eyes so I can hear every note.

    My theories: (for what they’re worth!)

    They have released 3 songs so that Danny has something new to sing at all these little gigs he has in Nov. and Dec. As well as whet everyone’s appetite for the CD.

    I think the mystery surrounding the radio tour is because they want to get away from Danny’s AI fandom and intro him to country audiences; try to get them to accept him as a new country artist without the “crutch” of AI stardom.

    You don’t think Best Days is Country? I really think it is and can see people shuffling their feet to it in country bars. I had my alt. rock 15 yr old listen and she said it was “too country”. BTW, she says Taylor Swift is NOT country, she is pop, lol.

    I agree with Pam. I think RCA’s strategy is to keep the buzz going with Danny and to introduce enough songs from his debut album for him to sing at upcoming performances. From what I understand it is normal for new country artists to be introduced to country radio with a radio tour. After listening to My Best Days all day today I think it sounds country and will do much better on radio than It’s Only. I also think it will do better than Tiny Life although we haven’t heard the studio version yet. I really hope that his label considers releasing all 3 songs on a digital EP on Itunes before Christmas but don’t know if they will. It’s Only is slowing down on spins and My Best Days has been played 3 times today. Brian Mansfield indicated in his article the other night that RCA has not made it’s push to radio yet so when they do we should see My Best Days being played a lot more hopefully.
