American Idol star and Milwaukee homeboy Danny Gokey will sing the National Anthem and perform at halftime of the Milwaukee Bucks’ home opener this Saturday night at the Bradley Center.
Gokey, a fan favorite nationally and locally, was a Top 3 finalist in the most recent American Idol competition. He has since signed a recording contract with a label in Nashville.
Gokey toured with the American Idol tour this year and now is working on his debut album, which is expected to be released in early 2010.
The game begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets to the game are still available.
