MJ: Kirsten’s Vancouver American Idols Live Tour Re-cap
Then, Danny came out. There has been a lot of talk about people planning to take bathroom breaks during his set. And people hating him. And him being the villain and all. But I saw none of that in Vancouver. The crowd seemed to be thrilled he was there. The little kids in front of me even did his heart thing with their fingers. Danny started out with “PYT” and the crowd was singing along and dancing and having fun. Then, he did “Maria, Maria” which wasn’t quite as successful, but still kept the energy level fairly high. He got it back to previous levels when he sang a very convincing version of Rascall Flatts’ “What Hurts the Most”. In fact, I think he sings it better than them. He did a very short speech (and got a group “Awe”) and then was into his last number. The audience seemed inspired. It was a very successful set. And I didn’t know that Gokey had guns. The lighting was very harsh on him, though, It was like an alien spaceship was about to land on top of him or kidnap him or something.

Hi girls, I just read Danny’s message and there are no words to describe what Danny must be going through today. He would give anything to have her next to him celebrating his success. Danny must feel quite lonely at times, even though he has his supportive family. When you find your soulmate that person is the most precious person in the world..

I am in tears reading Danny’s tweet. He loved Sophia so much and I’m sure he wishes she were here to share all of his success with him. But it is good that he is able to celebrate her life and her love.

Really nice sentiments. I remember a earlier tweet. He mentioned about a guy who woke him up from a nap on a plane.Ask him would he talk to his wife(Dannyfan) on the phone.It revealed a special insight about him. Danny could have gotten mad or taken a number of actions. But,instead he said, that guy must love his wife.Never mind that it was probably a big inconvenience for Danny.I just that was very thoughtful. A heart of gold.

Dee, I also remember that tweet Danny wrote about the guy on the airplane. Danny does have a really kind heart. He seems to really love people and appreciate the support he gets from his fans. I think it says a lot about him as a person.

Yep, exactly 1 week from today!!!!! so 7 more days and I’ll be there!!!!!!!!!!!! I can’t believe how big his arms have gotten!!!! He has definitely been to the gym and lifting weights cuz he was always buff, but not THAT buff!! He looks great!
I’m getting my mom a new camera for her birthday which is this Sunday.. she needs and wants one, and I need her to have something good for when we record and take pics of danny! hahaha So it’s a present for us both!

I’m glad the haters were minding their manners today. He certainly doesn’t need their negativity today, of all days.
I’m glad that he is around his good friends, Matt and Michael and the others. They will cheer him up today. And his family has probably called him all day too. He has such a great support system, doesn’t he?
I couldn’t find the exact picture that Amy has at the top with Danny’s hands together like that but I only looked at the one spot. It had so many to chose from. I was like a kid in a candy store. Ha

I’m glad they are giving him a day of peace too, but I wondering if the haters really even know it is the anniversary of Sophia’s passing. They don’t follow him like we do so they might not know that kind of information. Hi gokey girls——I know that AMY is going to start a daily page for all of us to make comments and have discussions in the same thread everyday begininng at 7am daily starting tomorrow. This sounds great because we sometimes don’t know what page we are having a discussion on (It gets confusing), we are all over the place. Now back to Danny, well I am sad that I did not see any new danny videos from Canada! I certainly had him on my mind all day due to the anniversary of his wife’s passing. I pray that he is at peace in this hour of reflection and remember the wonderful moments that he was blessed to share with his wife.

pictures, but when he sang CROCS, came walking out in that
suit….my mouth dropped to the floor…I melted…that

No, I’ve never heard of Ebro. but I haven’t lived here all my life, just off and on because my husband was in the military. Before moving back here we lived in Iceland for seven years. It was beautiful. My kids loved it there. They still call it home.

I think that was just from last night’s show when he said he had to cut two of Danny’s songs. I was so angry. I wrote him twice and told him the first time to just play two of Allison’s, two of Danny’s, two of Adam’s and two of Kris’, because that was fair. He still cut two of Danny’s and none of Allison’s or Adam’s or Kris’. I then wrote him back and told him that he had just lost most of Danny’s fans for being so unfair to Danny. That was ridiculous. So, I’m not sure if I’ll listen again. I’m still angry with him. Although that was only for the one time, because the girl had a low battery. Still it wasn’t fair at all.

Hi Everyone!
I just got back from my trip and it’s good to be home and ONLINE with all of you! I have been thinking about Danny all day and I was moved to tears reading his tweet about Sophia and how he was marking the anniversary of losing her…In fact, all I can think of is how strong he is…I am so happy that he has some really great friends in the tour group. I know he is strong, but we all get by with a little help from our friends…

I rewound it several times after the show and even slow paused it a few times because It was a pretty bold dance move there=)
Although it could have been just the angle of the camera guy they do stuff like that too and over emphasize it for shock value! well it certainly shocked me!

I love your gravitar vickiecarol I remember when Danny sang dream on that night I loved loved loved it but when he screamed did everyone see the look on Paulas face if you look at that again look at her face its like oh no Danny please dont!! she knew right away he would be in trouble because of that and I knew it too even though I did not want to admit it!! she was rocking to his song like crazy and so was I up until the scream!!!! oh that was a sad night! to me thats when I got really concerned about him getting voted off for the first time!! in the show. one other thing I was thinking is most of the AI performances Danny to me always seemed just a tad stiff like he did not quite know what to do probably because he was worried what Simon and the judges would say so he held back alot I think..but now we are seeing the Danny we all knew was there all along and now he is free to be himself!!! dont you just love seeing him now these videos he just oozes dance appeal sex appeal and he looks so confident out there!! I love his outfits so cool the boots the coat the red shirt and the cool glasses he is really making himself stand out and I was so hoping he would do that on the tour!!! I am so proud of where he is now!! He has got alot more surprises coming for us too I bet! I just can wait to see what he does next!!!!!!

Thanks, I am so glad I finally got a gravatar. I really like the purple colors in the picture and the action of him doing his thing, singing, which he does so well.
I really love Danny’s CROCS song too. I was thinking how awesome it would be if he could have sang that as well as the other four songs. They should have given him more songs to sing. After all, he is the best one up there, and also, the best performer. He can really shake his groove thang.

VickyCarol, couldn’t agree with you more. I can’t believe that Allison gets 3 songs plus a duet, whereas Danny just gets 4 songs. He should have had at least 5 songs with CROCS and a duet. I still think it’s such a travesty that Kris ended up winning by default and Danny took THIRD. Just crazy. Kris does nothing for me and I never felt he had any charisma or “it” factor at all, but now he’s on tour doing SIX songs. Ugh. That’s gonna be a LOOOOOOONG set for me to sit through, no disrespect meant to Kris, but seriously…

vc I agree Kris is a nice guy but he does not do it for me either or have the IT factor no disrespect either nice voice but nothing like you go wow! is he good! when you got it you got IT! and Dannys got it! About Kris and his singing abilities, this is just my opinion but I think that 19 records maybe felt that if Danny was signed with them then Danny’s records would out sell Kris’ and Kris won so that would be humiliating for them and Kris and AI. Adam and Allison sing rock so, they aren’t in the same genre with Kris but Danny is.

Thanks Cheryl for letting me know because I was reading some of the feedback from fantasia who attended the concert and her reaction regarding danny, she sounded somewhat pleased but not completely enthusiastic. Everytime I listen to danny sing PYT and he hit that high note and sing I”LL GIVE YOU ALL I GOT! whew! my blood starts to boiling and my body starts to throbbing just thinking about what danny would do!

Did anyone watch the new video of My Wish that Amy just posted? What was with that girl singing the whole song with Danny in the background and off key at that. I would LOVE to see Danny in a tight sleeveless tank with his sophia’s heart necklace, a pair of TIGHT jeans (like Hello), his black boots…and let the sweat roll on down!
You know, with a person like Danny who is so careful about his hygiene, I bet his sweat is not stinky at all. Really, people who work out a lot and shower every day stay nice smelling…not so much old bacteria on the skin, I guess…

I did have to laugh about Adam wearing the ladies unmentionables thrown on stage to him! In an interview, I think Access Hollywood, he was in a store with some host (they picked up a pair of sequined women’s hotpants and said they’d like to see Danny in them)… anyway, Adam said straight out (no pun intended) that he often buys women’s clothes.
