Danny Gokey: “I'm sitting down with record labels next week. I hope to sort it out before tour. But I don't want to wait too long, the quicker the better.” In the meantime, he continues to grow his Sophia's Heart Foundation, which he created in honor of his late wife. “We're planning a food and clothing drive in Milwaukee. And we're looking for a facility there or here in L.A. for the foundation's events. We might have the L.A. facility running first before Milwaukee. It's a turnkey operation, so I can start running programs right away.”

I can’t begin to tell you the exciting feeling I have right now!!! He wants to open a facility in LA??? HELLO!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooo looking into that! I would definitely work for them or volunteer or whatever! I had no idea they wanted to put a building out here! Okay, I’m looking out for that people!!!

I am so glad to hear that something is happening!! Anyone who snags Danny will not regret it that is for sure! I can not wait for his first album. I might even have to start listening to the radio again! It would be so awesome to hear Danny on the ray-dee-o!

JennJenn I wish he was opening a facility in Chicago. I would definately volunteer. Milwaukee is pretty close, but not close enough to spend a lot of time with it. Hopefully he will expand to other cities as well. Chicago would be a perfect place.
I think that interview was done 2 weeks ago when they had press week. So the meetings he is talking about already took place and hopefully we will hear good news soon!!!

Yeah Chicago would be great for sure! I think him starting in LA is smart too cuz there’s a lot of power and big whigs that could possibly help him (haha) and then he can start branching out to other cities. That’s why I want to look into it – if they started something out here, I’d sooo be there!

Hey Ladies,
I’ve been reading your commits and I agree. I love the scruff and the glasses. It’s funny how a few words from Danny about how he looks and the fans are screaming on the keyboard with their views and comments. I wonder if the other idols are jealous of adorable Danny and all of his adoring fans.

I am going to teach a posting lesson for all those interested in making my day! on your own twitter page, go the danny’s message and highlight the link to the picture, put the mouse pointer on the hilighted link and right click on your mouse – a box will come up that give you an option to copy – click on copy. Now come back to this site to make a comment. Right click on the comment box and select paste. Voila it is posted.

I know what you mean about the night Danny was voted off. I was so upset I was even sick to my stomach. It was so hard to watch the finale knowing that he should have been in the top two. That Kris, that was just pure luck. He is riding the wave now.

Danny is so good at interviews. That’s a good trait to have since he will be doing interviews as part of his career, with promoting his music and foundation.
He’s such a sweet guy too, and so caring.
