They cordon off an area around the tour bus or in the vicinity and then the idols come out and sign autographs from behind the ropes …for those lucky enough to be RIGHT UP FRONT! Of course, lots of ppl hang out early and try to meet them or wait after the show, too…I’m just hoping that as many people as possible get a hug from Danny cuz he is a mighty fine hugger and he makes you feel the LUV!!

no Lauri I haven’t heard of anything regarding the record deal. Remember Danny would not be the one announcing when he sign the deal; the record company will do an official anouncement, that is the protocol. Danny is just trying to keep us in the know that things are in the making but that is as far as he can go. I belive some of the deals are contingent on his performance, because they have to determine his true genre and people’s response to him. I know we love him and already endorses him, but this shrewed business still needs more clarity with his genre and agenda (maybe). I believe Danny is going to show these record companies his abilities and potential! But I truly believe that Danny will get signed without a shadow or doubt for sure! it is just a matter of when, but don’t worry ladies our danny will get his record deal!

Latrece, thanks for the post and the “fix”. I know you are spot on, but it is hard to wait and wait and wait. Danny received a lot of negative bashing simply because of what he believes in and that was wrong. Totally wrong. But if he does go for the modern Country – he will be at home and I know he will shine! I just hope the meetings went well.

Laurie– for whatever reason, I don’t doubt that danny will get a record deal inspite of all of the hate. The record company knows that when an up and coming arttist is attack that he is a potential threat! so they actually like that attention because that artist is going to bring competition to the game. They need to find what area or genre he is in so they can distribute his music to speific radio stations to play. Maybe they are trying to see how he is going to be recieved by the country audience and radio stations.

yup danny is at heart I thought of what it means to me and all of us here..he has so inspired everyone of us!! to go after our dreams..I have written some songs in the past..but this one has really touched my heart because danny really touched my heart..from the minute I met him!! and the lyrics are about how He gave us hope to go after our dreams and A chance to live life again to the fullest..after such tragedy! I read what we wrote on Sophias heart foundation about letting go and living life! I doubt he will ever hear it or sing it but you never know? I am going to get it to him somehow. I am so excited for anything he does or sings..it dont matter to me it will sound GREAT!!!!

I can only imagine when danny gets out on stage, how passionate and intense he is going to be; he is going to give it to the fans DANNY STYLE! hot! I think the fans need to be ready to be whooed, heart struck, and totally captivated by a person who has very strong convictions when he sings; singing for danny is not just an act, IT IS WHO HE IS! and he will express it in the deepest way possible!

I’m not able to go to the concerts but I was curious about those meet and greets before the show. Is there a security person or some other person of authority there to move the fans along and keep the lines moving so that one fan doesn’t hog too much of an Idol’s time, leaving a lot of fans that won’t even get near their favorite? I’m thinking the answer to this would be to get there reeeeeeeal early!

karen I believe you can change your name by going on Profile and it will allow you to change your name. Otherwise you can just set up another twitter page using a different name. I think Jenn and Amy may have more than one twitter page. Some people like to use their real name, some like to use nicknames. It’s whatever your preference is. I do follow Danny and his brother and his cousin Joel. If you are on my page you should be able to click on the right side where it says following and it will tell who I am following. Same with if you click on followers it will tell you who is following me.

I am not able to see the posting with Danny at the airport, it will not show anything, so I cannot enjoy those arms that you all are talking about!

The interview from access hollywood was a week ago, Danny seemed optimistic about his meetings with the record labels, but we have not heard anything yet. OOOH well when we do get the good news, it is going to be celebration and heaven time.

Joanna If you are on twitter and following Danny, you will see a message from him that links you to a bubble tweet. If you click on the link it will take you to Danny’s page and a bubble will pop up with a video of Danny talking to a camera.
