Fans are all speculating about the meaning of Danny’s latest tweets. Is an announcement about his record deal coming soon? And will it be Country?
Last night he twittered:

Fans were speculating it either had to do with Sophia’s Heart or his record deal. He had said in a Fox Interview that he was in talks with Sony Nashville but previous Nashville visits involved Sophia’s Heart Foundation. Then today he seemed to clear up which it was:
@DannyGokey Just arrived in Nashville!!! Have 2 meetings tomorrow…..and by the way….they have nothing to do with Sophia’s Heart Foundation! =)

I am praying so hard for some good news for Danny. When I first heard the tweet for going to Nashville, I too thought that it was for Sophia’s Heart too. I am so excited and hope that we will hear some tweet that it is a record contract. I know if he puts out a CD, I will definitely be buying his first one.
I looking so forward to getting the Idol ensamble CD on Tuesday and hearing his voice again on Stand By Me.

He just sent 3 beautiful tweets out to three people who recently died Michael Jackson Farrah Fawcett and billy mays..He hoped God would give the families strength and find hope in the midst of their situation like he was able to do after his wife passed. She died on July 9th..Oh he is so sweet and sincere always thinking of others bless his heart.

thanks shirl its so hard to put into words how I feel about danny. The first anniversary of Sophia’s death is coming up a week from this Tuesday, July 9th. Some of us were trying to think of a way to support Danny on that day, which will surely be hard for him. This is what we came up with:
1. On July 9th make a donation to Sophia’s Heart Foundation. $2 or $2,000 or any amount in between, whatever you can afford. Just make a donation
2. After you’ve made the donation, tweet Danny and tell him “Today I have made a donation to SHF in remembrance of Sophia” or any variation on that. Don’t mention the amount, so that people who can’t donate much won’t feel bad.
Some people were thinking it would be good to do it in the morning so that he’ll see the tweets first thing, but whenever you can do it would be okay.

Also I wanted to add that I think Danny could do really well with Rascal Flatts type of music. I didn’t know much about this band until I heard Danny sing WHTM. If you listen to RF’s latest CD it’s modern and the songs have such a beautiful melody. RF could actually write a song for Danny.

I really hope that Danny knows this site, because it would make him laugh and feel good about things. I’m like the rest of you and don’t know what hit me when I heard Danny’s audition for AI. I said to my boyfriend that there is a voice I have been waiting for a long time and my boyfriend totally agreed with me, that Danny Gokey’s voice is one of the best he has ever heard. We actually skipped the AI final, because Danny was voted off and just could not believe what happened.I know he is going to have a brilliant career, because he has such an amazing voice which can really reach and touch you.This kind of talent is hard to find these days. I’m also sure that he has a huge amount of overseas fans.

Goodmorning Karen! it is a beautiful day here in chicago this morning, it is about 78 degrees, mild wind blowing, the sun is shinning, the air is fresh and crisp, birds is singing and it is calm and quiet. Heavenly! I did read about Danny’s pole dancing and all I could think about, he is a natural with the pelivc thrust; when Danny did the group dance with the AI on the Micheal Jackson song, he naturally went into the pelvic thrust! boy what I would pay to see that pole dance!
I am sure the meetings are at a reasonable time, about 9-10am, maybe he is with his lawyers or other supporters. Danny is being very methodical about signing his contract bcause he is in this for the long haul, therefore great consideration needs to be taken before jumping for a deal; Danny is a visionary and he sees things in the long term not the short term. Patience is a virtue, because I believe danny is going to go far when things do fall into place for him!
Karen I believe some of the Gokey girls are at work this morning! I am glad to be back to have more steamy conversations regarding our heart throb Danny!

Hi vc ~~ I never got in touch with Ivan Santiago because I didn’t even know he existed until your post here. I have talked to his wife, Margarita, but they are in TN, and the teeshirts and bracelets will be sent out from Milwaukee from what I understand. I also read in twitter somewhere that another member of the family said they had received their first new shipment of merchandise at SHF and would be mailing things out this week. I don’t want to get my hopes up because I’ve heard this story before, about six weeks ago. I just think they are overwhelmed right now with all the response.

Shirl I too am always in some kind of emotional state over Danny. Sometimes excitement, sometimes nervousness and anxiety, sometimes anger (at haters), sometimes sadness…you get the picture. It is a new to me too. I would have never in a million years believed a celebrity would move me like Danny has. His success means so much to me, as I know it does to everyone who posts on this site.
Cheryl I have to admit, I am in a constant state of euphoria over Danny; sometimes I am disappointed with all the acussations against him, but for the most part I think he deals with it exceptionally well so I have confidence that he is moving full force ahead and I am riding that wave with him all thw way to his destination!

Hi, Lauri! I agree with you that a RF genre of country would really suit Danny very well…with a little soul, a little R&B and even a bit of salsa which he wants. That’s a lot better than straight country because so many of those songs just tell a story but have no real melody that grabs me.

Just received a “Thank you for your donation” phone call from SHF. Spoke to Marilyn Rosado. Danny has instructed his staff to personally call all donors to say “Thank You” – what a guy.
A couple of things I found out – Shirl that sight you found
http://www.dannygokey-star.com is a FAKE, they are NOT endorsed by Danny or SHF. Marilyn spoke to Ivan and they were taken aback about this, they asked me to spread the word that if you buy merchandise from here, it is not going to SHF. SHF is working on getting official merchandise available, but it will be a couple of weeks. No other sites have been endorsed by Danny Gokey or SHF. It really looks legit and they even used the SHF logo and says “Approved by Danny Gokey” – what nerve some people have!!!!
Hannele – welcome! I to discovered this site only after American Idol was over and wish I found it before. I would have saved myself from sleepless nights reading the aweful comments from some other blogs and sites. Welcome to the wonderful world of positive thoughts and all haters are filtered out!!!!
I totally agree with you, wasn’t really a Rascal Flats fan at all, listed to What hurts the most, downloaded, the Original Version from Rascal Flats and think Danny blew it away!
I also think he could do great with this type of upbeat music or “modern/contemporary” country.

Michele ~ THANK YOU SO MUCH for finding the low-down on that dannygokey-star site! I am so glad you brought that to my attention before I bought a teeshirt from them! I have to admit I was cautious about getting involved with this person, who seemed so sincere! There ought to be a way to get her to remove her site. Or Danny or someone should tweet that he has nothing to do with it and neither does SHF. There were tweets about bogus accounts on twitter….there should be on this, too.
Michelle, also….be in touch via twitter. I was asked not to mention anything about teeshirts or bracelets…YET. But was told someone would be in touch at such time as they were ready to get it off the ground.
Furthermore….someone from Danny’s camp should put out the word on twitter or somewhere where everybody can see that this person is a fraud, before people buy her teeshirts! I sent a DM to Danny’s cousin about this site so hopefully pressure will be put on the person or persons responsible for selling merchandise in the name of SHF and taking advantage of people’s money. That just burns me up!

Hi Lauri ~~ Do a search for dannygokey. Make sure it’s lower case letters and not DannyGokey. Twitter is case sensitive. dannygokey is our Danny. DannyGokey is probably some wannabe just pretending to be him.
