I think that’s what we’ve been saying!
Third Round…Ummm….nobody. That’s all I’m saying about that one. Well, maybe I’ll mention one thing. One of my best friends, Kelley, mentioned that maybe this was more of a Danny Gokey song and I agree. Danny could have sung the living daylights out of that. Yep, I said it. See, I really do like Danny…promise!

I couldn’t agree more.
Danny would have KILLED, totally killed that song.
That song was written for Danny and had it been a Danny-Adam finale, this song would have edged Danny for the win.
This finale is totally wrong!!
Even my mom who’s not a Danny fan went “That spectacles boy would have done this better.” See, she doesn’t even remember Danny’s name and even she concur that the song is so meant for Danny.

One good thing about this–Danny will get tons more publicity!
And he will be way more popular because of this he really did get DAUGHTRYED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!i WOULD LOVE TO HEAR DANNY SOMETIME SING THAT SONG!!!!!Or something very similar to that..He would have won I really think he would have!!!!!
If he was up against Adam.

Danny would have blown that song away!!!! at first i thought Melinda did not care for Danny. I guess she changed her ,mind.On the final 3, I think something was wrong with Danny’s phone line. I had two phones going, I couldn’t even get through on my cell phone, all circuits were busy…..Did anybody else have that trouble???? Anyway, Danny would have probably been booed at if he had beat Adam. Does anybody know why there was so much hatred for Danny? I have down loaded all of his songs!!!!! he’s amazing……..

You know this is funny as Adam and Kris were singing that last song I kept thinking that is a perfect song for Dan he would have made that song his and it would have been great. As it stands righ now I would never listen to it again. Also I had a lot of trouble getting through the lines last Tuesday. I heard a lot of people did. I hate to think this but I think something was very wrong with the way things went down. Someone made a lot of money by having Kris in the finals. To late now.. I may never watch Idol again after tonight and only watching tonight to see Danny.

karen h — i had a cell phone in each hand going for 2 solid hours on speed dial. i was getting through about 75% of the time and this worried me….thinking no one was voting for Danny.

I have to admit that i’ve been evil this time since i am wishing the contestants worst of their luck and i wanna see their regretful face for ripping Danny off the finale >_<

The song had to be written for Danny. There will be lots of songs for him thats for sure. I lost interest in the show after he was cut. He was amazing tonight singing with Lionel Richie.

Jamie, amazing was putting it mildly! When he sat on those steps and sang “I’ve been with you inside my mind, and in my dreams I’ve kissed your lips a thousand times” I was on the FLOOR!
I was wishing Adam would win tonight but the fact that Danny didn’t is all that really matters. It’s all about Danny for me and always will be.
