Danny Gokey Top 4 Dream On/Renegade Duet with Kris Allen Performances

Danny started out with a duet with Kris with Renegade. To be completely honest, Danny looked scared and nervous. BUT when Kris and Danny sang together, they had absolutely no reason to be scared! They sounded gorgeous together. Danny did a great job with his parts and overall a decent performance. Are they going to be rockers? No. But I think they did a great job.
For his solo, Danny sang Dream On by Aerosmith. It seems that the full attention was put on the last note which the judges gave an A for effort but not much else 
. But I loved the middle of the song in the chorus. I think that sounded great.
Danny fans, VOTE, VOTE, VOTE!

I agree. I loved the rest of the song but the last note. It almost seem like metal rock. In my opinion his singing was the most rockish.

Danny will be fine he is getting so much buzz tonight its unbelievable..the last note was what can I say interesting? But it really makes me laugh too but not in a bad way but in a good way he is so funny I think! but Danny is a risk taker and I really think he was comfortable with it..or he would not have done it:) He has lots of fans and he was number 2 on dial idol tonight..i know anything can happen but I really believe he will be okay!!! He just wanted to try what Adam does every weekLOL! But he should stick to not screaming after this I agree but the song was really good and the duet was gREAT with Kris too:)

This was my least favorite of Danny’s performances so far this season…didn’t like the scream at all.. but I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the duet with Kris! Danny really shone on that one…if only he had chosen a solo that was more of a fit for him. The Eagles, Kansas, even Queen…so many to choose from.
I voted like crazy last night, and so did my daughter. I SO hope he makes it into the final 3.
I will not be reading any other blogs or comments, because I know they’ll be trashing him.

I have to disagree with the judges and considerable other’s opinion about Danny and Kris’ being able to rock it! I think that did just as well or better than my other two favorites, Adam and Allison. Hang in there kids! The torture is just about over. You are all great. Shut your ears to the negative because ‘it’s all good’!
