Danny sang Carrie Underwood’s “Jesus Take the Wheel” tonight on Grand Ole Opry week. While most would agree the verse at the beginning wasn’t quite as strong as it could be, he rocked out the rest of the song. Amazing! No one can deny he knows how to connect with a song when he hits his stride.
He looked great, obviously styled by AI’s stylist…maybe one or two many layers too many for the occasion though 
But I loved that he laughed along with Simon on the criticism of the outfit.
Here’s what the judges had to say:
Kara: “When you hit your stride, it is like none other. The front have was not great, but the back half was wow”
Paula: “You were brilliant. Carrie Underwood would buy that record”
Simon: “I don’t know if she would buy it, but I agree with Paula. My problem is what you are wearing”
Randy: “I agree with Kara. The chorus you blaze but the verses need better support. A little pitchy”
